Translation:

I want to tell everybody something.

If you like a game, good for you. If you hate a game, give some constructive opinions.

Don't simply trash the game because you don't like it. This habit is making the gaming world far too complicated, and in turn, could affect everyone in a small or a big way.

Maybe, if you just keep complaining, they will stop making fun games and there would be no good games!

Does anyone agree with me?

Sorry, I was bored...

Oh and yes, I agree :P

RTS: Total Annihilation.

RPG: Fallout 2 or Morrowind. (Hard choice, love them both)

MMORPG: World of Warcraft. (Formerly. Not really an MMORPG fan, but I was hooked for a time)

Tough decisions, having to pick favourites..

My now Ex-Girlfriend. She's completely hooked. I still talk to her on occasion on msn, and 95% of the time, she's in the game.

A sad, sad story that one, which I won't go into. Originally it began a year ago with me buying the game, becoming briefly hooked, playing for a few months off and on. All the while she was adament that she would never play.

She tried it once when I was at work. I don't think she's ever been the same since. She literally now, lives and breathes WoW.

I suggest you just dive into Civ IV, it's simply the best and most accessible Civ game yet. Civ IV alone will have you spend countless sleepless nights on your PC. Personally, I think of the Chronicles package as a collector's item, a nice way to have the entire series in a single cool box, I really have no desire to go back and play the previous Civs again. Of course, you could check them out to see how the series evolved over the years, but there's not much sense in spending too much time on them.

UpInFlames

Agreed. I would have said just dive straight into Civ IV, but UpInFlames went into the reasoning behind doing so better than I could have ^_^

It's a great game, think of it as more of an evolution of Civ III, also a great game- for it's time. Now it is time you play Civ IV!

I advise you prepare some snack treats or some form of nourishment, and place them no more than an arms reach away before diving in.

I get the whole Cyclic Redundancy Error on a few of my CD's, however they contain not a single scratch. I think it's possibly just a bodgey copy. Afterall, the ones I get errors with are all simply backup cd's of data, and I reckon I screwed up the burning process somehow. I dunno. Just return it :P

You could always go for the Gigabyte P35 DS3P... I'm not so sure on the prices, or your budget, but from what I'm hearing, it's a very future proof board. I'm fairly certain it has what you're looking for. I think it's roughly the same price as the DS3R, maybe give or take a little more.

I thought about it briefly. Got half way through reinstalling after god knows how long, only to end up hitting cancel...

I don't know... I think I might actually bring myself to install it again...again!

Whats the point of PC gaming with a controller? Mouse and keyboard are supreme in every aspect IMO.concord9

I agree with you almost 100%. Only reason I got the controller hooked up was for a select few games- Resident Evil 4 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in particular. No way in hell I could have played either of those with a mouse + kb config lol. I don't think I could see myself using a gamepad on the PC for anything else... I suppose sport games would be easier? *shrug*

I'm surprised I haven't seen this before. Very cool.

It's like, original pong on some sort of acid trip!
