Bay is correct. I'm happy he has spoken out about it.
Microsoft has a hidden agenda, and it's bad for the movie industry. Read about it and Bay is right. MS envisions everything digital, you own nothing and everything is pretty much pay per view. The ONLY reason MS has thrown so much money into HD-DVD and it's promotion is to head off Blu-ray. MS wants to cause confusion in the market place as long as possible so they can get their own formats and platform going. EmperorSupreme

That is exactly the same thing that Sony is doing with Blu-ray. They are not pushing it for their health, they want money just like every company.

You do know about pre-ordering games right? There will be at least as many copies as people wan't to pre-orde.

Ok so I dont know if its just me but it does not look like good. Like am running in 1080p on a 37" westinghouse in HDMI and it does not look that good. There are jaggies everywhere. IS my TV too big for this game to look good or soemthing? hagamespotcrazy

Don't get me wrong. I think blue-ray is a great thing. More storage is always better. A lot of people think that because the 360 is only limited to reading DVDs, games like GTA and ME can't be as big as they could have been. And I agree to that. If the 360 reads blue-ray, Liberty city could be much much bigger. There would be a lot more "populated" planets in ME.

However, doesn't all that require more development time? In my opinion, developers/publishers want to have a reasonable development time and yet get the chance to sell the game. I think everybody agree that games these days are much shorter than past gen games but it takes same if not more time to develop than past gen. With better graphic, better AI, better physics all that only adds to more develop time/money. So let's say if games get larger and larger =more time/resource to develop. If a good development team can push out 2 to 3 games in a console's life span, with bigger games, they only have the time/resource to get one out. Then they make less money and I'm sure that's not what they want.

Good post man. However I think you are basing your opinions on some things that are just not true. Check out this article it is the best one ever concerning disc capacity and how it affects consoles. Also the guy is not a fanboy.

I assume the Wii is that system? Well if a game like Farcry(great game on PC and Xbox) gets ported over to the Wii and is watered down so much that it hurts to look at and the game has half@$$ed controls, its lazy devs. MP3 looks great and controls well, and Retro put some time in to making that shooter, Ubisoft did not with Farcry. jfkunrendered

the ps3 doesnt support .flv files so movie clips probs wont play unless in sony format, and shockwave isnt in the firmware, i think, or it isnt up 2date, why not use your PC?linkinworm

I just sold my Lap Top and I do not know when i am getting a new PC. So this is the only internet I have for the time being.

One of the reasons I got a PS3 is the fact thatit has "full internet browsing capabilities."Now that I haveone that seems not to be the case.

When I tryto watchmovie clips it says "this application is not supported. Sometimes it will let me Save it to the Harddrive, but normally it will not even bring that option up.Also websites that need shockwave or different flash players do not work. Yes I have the most current update.

Someone please Help I love my PS3 but this is driving me insane.
