It may not be 3.5 bad, but it's definitely 5-6 bad. The game has no redeeming qualities and gets REALLY annoying REALLY fast. I stopped playing less than an hour into the game because I couldn't take it anymore. It's a terrible game, please don't try to redeem it when you haven't even played it.

As much as I like JRPGs, this looks like your typical generic cliched cel-shaded JRPG and really nothing at all to look forward to. I mostly agree with the 2 posters above who bashed the game. I see NOTHING to get excited about at all.

When will we finally get some innovation in the JRPG genre? It seems like the last 2-3 years it's just been rehash after rehash. Eternal Sonata was probably my favorite one this gen and this game looks pretty much like a direct ripoff.

There is no point of a 1-10 scale if 10 can never be reached. What's the point of having a 10 there at all? Games will always be able to improve in some way, but standards change over time. GTA4 was released this year and it was an amazing game. When the next GTA4 expansion is released it will be rated using the standards that GTA4 set. If it does happen to get a 10.0, that 10.0 will be more valuable than the one that GTA4 received, becase standards have been raised since it was released.

The problem arises because you can't "future-proof" video game ratings. Ocarina of Time's 10.0 definitely wouldn't stand today, but does it matter? Reviews should be taken seriously only on the game's release. Updates, expansions, and changes in standards really cause reviews to be unreliable after a year or so.

HDMI cables cost $10-$20, if you're paying any more than that you're getting ripped off, plain and simple.

I still believe that games like Dead Rising, Viva Pinata, Saints Row, Lost Odyssey, and Eternal Sonata (all 360 exclusives) could be AAAE games in some peoples eyes just like Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, and Folklore could be. The difference between a high or mid 8 and a low 9 is a reviewer's opinion. PDZ, GRAW, No More Heroes, and Brawl could have easily been not AAA and on some sites they aren't AAA.Auroni

Trying to be as unbiased as possible, I honestly don't think any of those 360 exclusives deserve AAA. Don't forget that AA is still a GREAT game. Not everything has to be AAA just to be playable. Fanboys need to calm down a bit and realize that the scale goes from 1-10 not 7-10. Anything 7.0 or above is still a worthy title.

Dude why do you care so much you have you make a topic about it? Enjoy your PS3 and stop worrying about the 360, if you hate it so much. Just stop caring.

If you don't want to see people ARGUE ABOUT SYSTEMS you should probably not be posting in SYSTEM WARS.

Xbox360 has a lot of good games, no doubt, but lemmings are definitely overplaying their AAA exclusives. PDZ is mediocre (especially by todays standards, which is what matters at this point in time) and GRAW2 is available as a multiplat and provides the same experience GRAW would provide.

We're left with Forza and Halo 3, both amazing games. It could be argued that PS3 has GT5 Prologue (for better or worse, I don't like racing games, so I won't comment). There is still no denying that Halo 3 and Forza are well deserved AAAE games.

Cows are also getting a little too worked up with MGS4 10.0 > all AAAE nonsense but it's just your typical rabid fanboys and their nonsensical quest to justify their purchases and loyal devotion. Best to just ignore them most of the time.
