Thats stupid, last year all the analysts with the exception of one or two were saying that PS3 will come roaring out of the gate. It wasn't till the summer that even a few started changing their tune. Even then they just said PS3 made a mistake with the high price tag, and that with a price drop we'll see the true potential of the PS3. They have been wrong at every step, and they will be proven wrong again as soon as NPD releases the November numbers and PS3 is last of the next gen consoles.

You can expect 360s and Wiis lead to increase over the PS3 for some time.

That chart is completely off, PS3 just reached 5mil a few months ago. No way they are selling another 6 million by the end of the year. And even if the PS3 gets to 9 million this year, it would have to sell in a 2:1 all year long to reach Xbox by the end of next year 2008. It has only outsold xbox in one month this year, and now this holiday season is falling further behind. There is no reason to believe that with it falling further behind this year it will somehow pull out Wii like sales and Xbox just stop selling.

Seems like it would work to me, not very well though. Basically what they are going to do is run the PC games on their servers and you stream your keypresses to them and they send back a movie stream showing what happens.

I do not see this becoming very big, people that want to play PC games have a PC. People with PS3s will not want to play the monthly fee which would be neccisary with their set up. Not to mention if they didn't have a keyboard and mouse that might mess it up.

Though because it is just a stream it would require basically no processing power, so DVDs could run it. Also you could run games on your computer that would not normally be able to run on your computer.

If you have one HDTV it is impractical to your PC hooked up to it, if anyone else needs to use the computer or the TV. Really I'm going to sit there and surf the internet on my HDTV, and have everyone watch me. Stupid.

And those price lists you forgot the sound card, hard drive, and desktop speakers.
