I want bioshock, just not willing to pay for it I guess. And I still believe Halo3 will score higher.
From the way everyone describes it the game sounds alot like Deus Ex in the customization department. The bad thing about Deus Ex was that I found one good way to kill the enemies then didn't do anything but that.
Happened in Far Cry as well, just went around shooting everything I could with the boat. These games with amazing ways to approach your enemies need enemies that will be smart enough to foil some of your traps in my opinion.
I like how he says it is Halo nothing more, nothing less. Though at the same time says...
"Got a good grasp on co-op as well, both two-player and four-player. Two-player, it's as par, but four-player? Pretty **** awesome. Seeing two Warthogs tear up a hill, with two human-controlled drivers and two human-controlled gunners, is pretty great. As is the feel of big battles - four players really seems to open up your tactical options, letting you approach those big Halo set-piece battles a little more experimentally."[QUOTE="Vylence"][QUOTE="jetthrovegas"][QUOTE="Vylence"]4 player online coop. Savable movies of campaign and multplayer missions. Yawn. MP missions in GRAW. Savable movies? Cool, but not new.
Unlockable armor. Oh cool! That's totally not something that was Metroid Prime 2 and hundreds of other games before it!
Visor reflections. Gee, that's really something!
MCs armor slowly gets beat up over the course of the campaign. NEATO! That's a real deal maker! :D
The forge. Oh so a half assed map editor that's not even as good as the one in Xbox Far Cry?
New vehicles. Including the Elephant movable base. Oh, snap! New vehicles! Never mind new and fresh gameplay! Bring on them big-ass vehicles!
New weapons. Including Graphity hammer, will knockback people and grenades. New weapons are meaningless! The gameplay is the same!
Equipement entirely new. Including the gravlif, which can throw vehicles around. Oh how cool! Sound like enough to base a game around!
End to award winning story. Yeah, this series is a real artistic masterpiece...

I think you are just bitter.
And I think you are just ridiculously ignorant and unable to recognize quality game design. Consider us even.
Ha Ha right back at you pal. I never said Bioshock would be a bad game, I think it will be a great game. And if it scores a 10 I think it will tie Halo3. On the whole though I think Halo3 is the more complete package.

I can give you many reasons, as can Foxhound based on many of his/her Bioshock posts I have read.
1. Bioshock will have a better story. I think we can all agree on that.
2. Bioshock will have better atmosphere. A forgotten Randian utopia filled with the worlds greatest now reduced to bizzare freaks, versus what? Africa? A covenant vessel? Some generic sci-fi base with symmetrical halls and absolutely nothing to discover but more enemies?
3. Better combat. Yes, that's right, Bioshock will have much better combat than Halo 3. Here are some things you can do in Bioshock:
*Light an enemy on fire, and then electrocute him when he jumps in a pool of water to put out the flames.*Place a proximity mine on a ceiling. Place a cyclone trap under it. Lure a splicer onto the cyclone trap, and watch as he flies into the ceiling and blows up.
*Use pyrokinesis to light a pool of oil on fire. Use telekinesis to pull a teddy bear through the flamesand light it up. Hurl the flaming bear at a Big Daddy and laugh as it burst into flames.
*Hack a security camera/drone/turret, and use it against your enemies.
*Use a plasmid on a Big Daddy and let him kill your enemies for you.
And that's just the beginning of the combat options. What does H3 have? Shooting enemies? Driving vehicles? Changing weapons? Shooting more enemies?
4. Weapon modding.
5. Skill development.
6. Tons of powers like telekinesis, cryokinesis, incinerate, electrocute etc.
7. Hacking, purchasing items, and using many different types of ammo.
8. Enemy research applicationthat allows for more effective tactics and higher damage.
Seriously man, there is no comparision.
Bioshock willmake Halo its b*****.

That throws down the guantlet man, I believe Halo3 will still be the better game. Meaning it will score at least what Bioshock does or improve upon its score.
[QUOTE="Vylence"]you seem to be running out of steam. If you love it so much why don't you marry it pal?

Ha Ha, I thought that was an amazingly witty comeback.
