Resistance: Retribution first impression and my next boxart project.

Well I been playing Resistance, so I give my first impressions on it.

I start with the single player. The game takes place between R1 and R2. You play as James Grayson who had to kill his brother, because he was infected by the Chimera. Grayson then goes crazy, and is later about to be execution for desertion. But A resistance called The Maquis enlist Grayson to help them to try to retake Europe from the Chimera. So far the story is good, and Grayson is a pretty good character IMO. Graphics of course looks amazing. The controls are fine, through maybe that because I am used to Syphon Filter. That is it for SP so far, so overall it good.

As for the multplayer, I did one match so far (free for all). I was a Cloven andI didn't do bad. Out of 8,I was 3rd place, so I guess that decent for a person that did their first match. Overall it was really fun. I haven't try much of Logan's Shadow multiplayer, but Resistance is probably more fun due to the faster pace. Through the cloven announcer is annoying at times. So overall MP is reallyfun.

So I am really enjoying the game. It getting up to my top favorite PSP games.

Now on to the other thing. I am creating my second boxart (the first is my sigma harmonics boxart). The game is Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume for the DS. I am half way done with it, So you probably see it no later then the end of next week. If you want to see my first boxart then go here to my deviant page.:)

Well that it for now.

Resistance: Retribution and REmake.

Hello everyone.:)Well today I gotten two games. One is Resistance: Retribution, which I had preorder. I going to start playing it in a few minutes. Play SP a little bit, then probably try multiplayer. The other game I got, which I am glad I found is Resident Evil remake for the GC. I play it a little last summer, and love it, so I glad I got it.:)This is my first RE game so yay.:D Well that it for now.

Playstation Store and Resident Evil: Dark Side Chronicles

Well I finally sign up on Playstation network, and try out the playstation store with my PSP. Seems like cool place. I downloaded a couple of demos. One of them was Resistance PSP which I am really excited for andI enjoy the demo. It really fun and it has awesome graphics for a PSP. However therea couple thingsI notice. One is that this game is probably going to be hard, beacuse some of the bigger enemies are hard to kill sometimes, especially those giant robots. At least thereare a lot of health packs, but this game looks harder then Logan's Shadow. And speaking of LS, there were some thingsin Resistance that look the same from LS. Like the game over screen in both game look the same. I don't mind it too much, but it sometimes drive me nuts. But it the same developers, so I guess they are a little lazy lol. I just finished downloding another demo, which is God of War PSP so going to try it in a little bit.

The other thing that happened this week was Resident Evil: Dark Side Chronicles, which is the sequel to Umbrella Chronicles. And course there a uproar about it. Of course I too am disappointed that it not a RE2 remake of a RE game with RE4 controls, but come on guys it not like Cacpom is giving the Wii a crappy game. Judging from the first trailer, it looks impressive. I hope it going to be good in the end.

The End is Nigh Demo impressions.

Well I am excited for Watchmen. I love the graphic novel, so I am going to see the movie, however I found a demo for the video game on Steam, The End is Nigh, which is a beat em updownload game for PC, 360, and PS3, where you play as either Nite Owl II or Rorschach, and there even co-op also. I decided to try the demo, to see if it going to be worth $20. Well there were some good things about it. One thing are the graphics, which looks great for a download game. Voice Acting is great, and Rorschach is badass lol. Actually I wanted to try this game so I can play as Rorschach, who is my favorite Watchmen character. However the gameplay itself isn't great. Despite some different combos, it still got repetitive very quickly. So with that and the game being like 2 hours, this gamedoesn't seem toworth $20 IMO. *sigh* Another not so great movie game.

Anyway, there was something funny that happened in the demo. Well as I finish fighting some enemies, I notice that Nite Owl II wasn't around. So I to go back to the previous rooms, and I found Nite Owl II stuck in the door while running lol.:P Well I decided that, screw him and finish the demo by myself, so I continue on. But there was a door ahead that needed both characters to pull two levers at the same time, so I thought I couldn't finish the demo. However a few seconds later,I see him running towards me, so I was able to finish the demo then. Anyway so who excited to see Watchmen?

Circuit City and Star Ocean: First Departure.

Well today I went to Circuit City, which since they are going out of business, are having a big sale for all products in the store. All video games prices are cut down by 40% so I went to see if they had anything that I was interested in. Too bad most of the video games sections were almost empty, so I didn't have that many choices, but I did get two games. The first one is Left 4 Dead, which I still have to wait for a couple of months to play, since it will go as a B-Day gift. The second one which I am playing now is Star Ocean: First Departure. So far it seems to be pretty good for the most part. The story is kinda meh at the moment, but I sure it will pick up. The characters are good so far IMO, and the anime cutscenes are just beautiful. The battle system is fun, but seems to lack depth. Anyway that is it for now.

PC version of PoP is left out again?

Well a few months ago I was not happy with Ubisoft that the PC version of Prince of Persia wasn't getting the collector edition upgrade, but I got the game anyway and I love it. However I may not be happy with them again. There is a DLC for Prince of Persia coming next month. I was excited for it. And with the new info, it seem to take place right after the main game, which got me a little more excited. However in the recent interview with the developers I read on IGN, I notice that there was no mention of the PC version at all, just the 360 and PS3 version. If it true, then I don't get why Ubisoft is leaving out the PC version. I hope they will put the DLC to the PC version (I actually heard that people are complaining to ubisoft about this), or I going to be more angry at them then before. This DLC is like a mini-sequel type thing, PC gamers should also to be able to get it too.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! It finally 2009. Man 2008 went fast lol. Well I have to say that 2008 was a great year. It was also a great gaming year. There were some disappointing moments, but I also got many surprises from a few games that I wasn't planning to get, yet they turn out to be some of my favorite games this gen. Now comes 2009. I hope it going to be great. This year I will most likely start college this fall. For gaming I probably won't get as many games as I did last year, but I hope this year I going to go back playing my PSP more with the help of Resistance PSP, Dissidia: FF, and Birth by Sleep (if it comes this year for NA). Anyway I hope you guys are going to have a great year too. Now I am going to sleep.:P*leaves*

Bioshock, Prince of Persia impressions

Hello. Well I been playing Bioshock and Prince of Persia a lot, so I am going to give some impressions about them.

Bioshock: Very impressive game. I like how there can be many ways to kill a enemy, since you can't just shoot at them, since ammo is kinda limited (not as limited as I hope through). The graphics are great, especially the water effects. The Atmosphere is great too, making this game creepy. The story is good so far, but I heard it gets better, so I am excited.

Prince of Persia: First off this game is so beautiful, especially once you heal the land. This is seriously one of the most beautiful games I ever play. The platforming in this game is great, and the combat is fine despite being a tad repetitive. So I am loving this game. It probably going to end up to be one of my favorite games this gen.

I also got World of Goo (I went to Best Buy to get a Wii point card using some of my best buy gift cards). So far it very interesting. I will give more impressions on it later.

Christmas gifts and Prince of Persia.

Marry Christmas.:D Well I am able to go on the computer for a little bit, so I will say some of the gifts I got. I gotTwilight and the new Halo book, so I can't wait to read those. I gotten some Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. I also gotten gift cards for Best Buy and Gamestop.

For gaming I only got World Tour, which I knew of course alrady, since I got it at black friday, but decided to wait for it for Xmas, and probably my favorite gift so far, Prince of Persia. I was playing it a little bit this morning, and I love it so far. Even better thanks to my new video card, I am able to play it on the high settings, and this game look really beautiful. Anyway well I going to go now. I prabably be back on GS later tonight.
