Did you see the sequel episode where Linus knew which was which five times outta five? It feels better, and I do believe it helps with aim, amongst other things. The game appears a lot more fluid, and it's just... Nice. For FPS games, 120fps is lovely. For slower paced games, I'd take a 1440p IPS panel any day of the week.

Yeah i saw it, was good.

Yeah, in the second video the guy got five out of five but he has basically trained himself to notice the difference. And he was using tricks to tell the difference like rotating the camera left to right and back again very quickly. Just doesn't seem worth the money to me to get a difference that is so negligible that you have to train your eyes to see it. I'll be the first to admit that 30 fps to 60 fps is a big jump but 60 fps to 120 fps seems like more of a bragging thing than anything else. Does it look a little better? Probably. But barely.

Consoles have always been behind PCs.

I thought everybody knows this by now... :?

Cyberdot

It appears that about 2 dozen PC fanboys said exactly the same thing in this thread. So even though I'm replying to your post it could have been any of those other ones.

Yes, of course PC stays ahead of consoles because it evolves constantly. But often consoles are competitive with them at launch or perhaps even a year after launch. This was true of Xbox and Xbox 360, for example. But this is the first time in a long time (if not ever) I've seen consoles wayyy behind PC even prior to launch.

This is the first generation of consoles I can think of where they are way, way behind PC even prior to release. In the past they matched up well with high-end PCs for at least a year. Wow, how times have changed.

Ask Epic Games what they think of PS4 and especially Xbox One. They knew the specs of them long before we did and they were so unimpressed they made the Samaritan demo as a plea to both companies to improve the hardware. Neither listened. PS4 is 75% of what they wanted, Xbox One only 50%.

It is technically superior to Xbox One but I've said it before and I'll say it again: Despite being more powerful than Xbox it is still weak! It just isn't as weak as Xbox. Technically BOTH of these consoles are big letdowns.

Lol, Sony has been doing these 14 hour long presentations where they mention every game that'll be on the PS4 for the next 2-3 years. Considering that of course there's more games to list for it right now.

There's a sigle video of a person playing a complete match in this game? A real player, not an official video released by EA/RE.

It seems that they are trying to hide something, of course they don't have campaign stuff to show, but I find the lack of real gameplay fron the game disturbing. Even Destiny, which is at least a year ago from the release was more revealing about the gameplay that the Titanfall coverage.

Ondoval

Right, all the journalists gushing about it have been fooled! Lol.

i would prefer all next gen games to target a solid 60fps, even if it's 720p

Shame so many of them are going for 30fps & not even hitting it half the time (Dead Rising, Killzone, Driveclub)

HaloinventedFPS

If they can't do both, if they gotta choose; I agree, 60 fps is more important than 1080p.

I've seen several replies in here downplaying the graphics of BF4. You guys are nuts! Technically it's the most impressive game footage I've ever seen.
