Finished Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires!

Well, after sitting on the shelf for a while, it took a little nudge from my roommate to get me to pull Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires out and finish it off. We went at it for the last two days blowing through maps like it was nothing, and switching characters to get all the trophies. Now it will go back on the shelf until I decide if I want to trade it in along with Dynasty Warriors 6. All in all, it was fun and now I have my second game with 100% of the trophies.

Great night out!!!

Took my girlfriend out to see Iron Man 2 for her birthday yesterday and then we went to dinner at the Malibu Beach Grill. That place is absolutely amazing. Iron Man 2 was actually pretty good too!!!

Happy Cinco De Mayo!!!!

Just want to wish everyone a Happy Cinco De Mayo!!! I have the night off and I'm not sure what I plan on doing but I think I'm going to go to the movies. If not I'll probably try and play some Final Fantasy XIII and see if I can't get a little closer to beating it.

My first M.A.G. experience

Yesterday was my first full day off since Monday, so I decided to take a break from my normal games and try something new. I've had M.A.G. sitting on my shelf for about two weeks now and hadn't even played it yet. I guess I'm just always weary of FPS because they're not my usually games and I tend to suck at them =). Anyway, I went out on a limb last night and started playing and man was it addicting!!! Sure I got the crap kicked out of me for about 4 hours but the more I played the better I got. I was dying so much towards the end and it was extremely fun. The graphics aren't the best and the game play is a little lacking but considering how many people can go at it at once is awesome. I honestly think I'll buy this game just for something different in my collection.

I've been way too busy!!!!

I haven't been able to post too much over the last month because my schedule has been so hectic. After moving out on my own for the first time in almost two years (my girlfriend and I broke up), and working two jobs its been a handful. On the bright side of things I have my own place and love it. And my second job is Blockbuster!!! So now I don't have to rent movies or games and I get to see them before they're released. Plus with my employee discount, I'm able to buy them at 20% off, so I've expanded my blu-ray collection a little bit as well as bought a few games for my PS3. Now if only I could find the time to actually play!!! I've been playing Final Fantasy XIII but because I work so much I'm not very far. I've only put in about 40 hours into it since I bought it the night it was released. I haven't even opened God of War III yet!!! Plus with the nice weather everyone wants to go to the beach and that leaves even less time to play. Anyway, I'm not complaining (much) Things are going well and hopefully I'll be able to start posting a little more. But for now, it's time to go to work!!!

Too much at one time!!! Star Ocean The Last Hope International

I'm getting in over my head a little bit. After recently getting White Knight Chronicles, I've been playing pretty much every waking moment when I'm not at work at either job. Yesterday, I got Star Ocean: The Last Hope International from Game Fly and now I can't stop playing it. I've totally put White Knight on hold to see if I'm really going to actually enjoy Star Ocean, and so far I really have. Lucky for me I'm off from both jobs today so I'm going to put some serious time in and make a decision by days end on whether I plan to go out and buy it.

I think I'll go and buy it now!

I picked up White Knight Chronicles from Blockbuster Thursday night just to see if I would like it. Today was the first chance I got to sit down for a bit and play. Almost 4 hours later I've decided that I'm definitely going to buy the game tomorrow. I don't know why Gamespot ragged on the game so much but to each his own. For me, I didn't find it all that bad and I look forward to adding it to my collection.

Don't know what it is about Dynasty Warriors???

I think there is something wrong with me!!! =) No matter how many times I've played them over the years and their multiple spin-offs, I just can't seem to get enough of the Dynasty Warrior games. I bought DW6 when it first came out on the PS3 and already knew that I wouldn't be doing anything different than any other DW game I had played in the past. But in some sick way I still love it. Now I'm playing DW6 Empires and even though its almost identical to DW6 I can't help but love it. I've got much better games to be playing, but just can't seem to stop playing DW. I think they put some type of subliminal message in the games, why else would you keep playing!!! J/K

Call of Juarez: Bound for Blood

This game is a lot better than I expected it to be. The controls are a little slow and the duel mode makes you want to pull your hair out, but the conversations between the two brothers is worth the time of playing in itself. While it could have been a lot better,it's still pretty good. I have 41% of the trophies (all from story mode) and just finished my first run through of the game. Will probably play through as the other brother before I send it back to game fly. Will let you know how it all turns out.

I take it back! =)

Alright, I admit it! I was wrong! There I said it. Turns out Bayonetta wasn't that bad of a game after all. While I still enjoyed Darksiders more, I don't regret the time I spent playing Bayonetta. After forcing myself through the game to its completion, I found myself coming around and actually enjoying the over the top sequences and witty banter that occurs during the game. Overall the came was actually pretty fun and I probably will play it again to to finish of the trophies that I missed.
