@fatedimpala5929: They removed lots and lots of interactive NPC's from the street for the beta, in order not to spoil the story. The final game will be very different. Of course it will still be very different from GTA 5, lots of cars driving around and people doing their daily business wouldn't quite fit with the story of the game, would it?
@moldyspud: You played a version of the game which had one ten minute mission available, and that's it. No wonder you got bored after 40 minutes. The final game will have lots and lots of content. You will be able to play for much much longer without getting bored.
Arkham Knight in its current state (fully patched) is definitely playable. I have it running at a very solid 60 fps (never drops below) at console settings at 1080p. The console graphics were already beautiful, so you don't have to run the game at higher settings. And 60 fps is double the amount you get with a console. So yeah, I'm happy I got the PC version. Haven't run into any bugs.
@mikemurphy80: That's because there was NO CONTENT in the beta. The beta only had one 10 minute mission and that's it. There was a very big city to explore but there was no other content. Once the full game releases there will be plenty of content. You'll see then that it's not a walking simulator at all.
Just love it when a game runs at 20 fps, then you enter 4-player splitscreen, and it runs at 5-10 fps. But you know, they will optimize the game, so at launch it will run just fine at 15 fps. Then, after launch, it will get even better, and the game will run at 22 fps.
@analgrin: Nonsense. Complete nonsense. No one else with a GTX 970 is getting that performance. Everyone gets the same drops I get. And I run Windows 10 myself.
@ECH71: Really? Those drops are even worse than mine. I haven't seen it drop below 29 fps yet. But I'm not running on max settings of course. I think it's about high settings, or even slightly below high settings, which I'm running.
PC Performance in the cities still isn't quite where it should be. I have a GTX 970 and an i5-4590, and already have the very demanding godrays set at medium. I want 60 fps in the cities, or at least fps in the '50s. But the reality is that fps can drop much further.
Further performance improvements are necessary Bethesda.
