[QUOTE="dewmandew7"][QUOTE="Shaqneel"]1) Upscaling actually doesn't help. You see it puts the games in high defintion, but once they're in hd, you notice a lot of graphical flaws and pixelation, not because there's anything wrong with the upscaling, but because ps2 games weren't mastered for high definition and hence will look bad if upscaled. Once you get you ps3, you will probably want to adjust the settings so that your ps2 games are not upscaled. Thats actually the way they look better and less crappy.
2. Yes the memory card adaptor works with both cards, ps2 and ps1.
Hope I could help

I don't agree. They definitely look better when you upscale and smooth them on an HDTV as opposed to displaying them in their native resolution on an HDTV. However, they do look much better displayed in their native resolution on an SDTV. If you're going to be playing them on an HDTV, however, upscaling and smoothing is the way to go.
Well it's been my experience that upscaling on an hdtv doesn't work too well, you may have had a different experience which is fine. I adjusted my settings to play them in standard def on my hdtv, and really I think we can both agree that playing them in standard def is the way they look the best.Ya. I know they usually look better on an SDTV, except for a few rare titles such as odin sphere. Im actually getting ready to purchase a dedicated gaming tv and I think I may pick up a tube HDTV so it can produce true HD and SD images (and a good one goes for about $700). The only problem is Im concerned about the HD image quality.
