@TheDarkNut: Actually, you're right. However the fact that EVERYTHING is origin stories makes it an easy assumption to make when they reboot something for the forty-seventh time.

It's still a 'beginning of the character' movie. I bet they refer to the origin story pretty heavily. And I also bet I don't see it just like I didn't see any of the current ones.

Stop it Hollywood. Just stop it. No more origin stories. Everyone knows Spider-man's origin story at this point. Everyone has known for decades. Stop it. Go do something interesting. No one cares how you contrive his getting bitten this time. It's not going to change. It's a spider. it's always a spider. Make him do something heroic already that doesn't involve crying.
