@adayinverse: I believe I said I just didn't see much reason to go back to it with Diablo 3's quality already there. I was commenting on the bizarre behavior of companies who have something great then decide to drastically alter it for no apparent reason and how that tinges the user opinion of them.

I have other reasons for not playing Marvel Heroes now, the lack of controller support being primary thanks to injury preventing my using mouse and keyboard for gaming. I planned to check it out again since there was rumor of controller support on the horizon. I'm still fairly iffy over it though.

A company's track record is a thing and it should be considered, they have to earn that trust back when they make poor decisions. When your friend steals from you, you tend to need some SERIOUS convincing for them to earn your trust again, the game goes for companies, nothing exists in a vacuum.

@kresa3333: The funny thing about your last comment there is Marvel Heroes WAS a potential competitor for Diablo 3 before it came out. The beta was excellent, enough so that after some free access I ponied up for one of the $60 packs because the game was truly excellent. It had good itemization, good balance, good skill and stat systems. Then the beta ended, it was offline for a week or two, and then the game actually came out.

Some jackass thought it was a good idea to completely revamp the game between beta and release and it basically ruined it. If Steam refunds had existed then I'd have hammered the refund button so fast. Itemization lost all of its magic, skills were nerfed almost universally, characters with regen like Dead Pool and Wolverine had their health recovery dropped to something like 10-20% what it was previously, entire gear affixes had been completely removed from the game, and the defense system was revamped completely. The result of that last change meant characters like Thing and Colossus that had relied on extreme amounts of defense became utterly worthless with no better survivability than any other character with the added bonus that all of their abilities were focused on close-range combat with nothing to mitigate the extra damage they took.

The negative changes that torpedoed its potential go on and on.

I imagine they may have fixed some of that by now but I just can't be bothered to come back so many years after the fact. As you said, Diablo 3 became something of far greater quality than at its release and there's no real reason to bother with any competitors now.

@ntomatas1: And it was apparently a planned feature originally via the now shut down Shinra cloud gaming system Squeenix had in the works. So it was something that was on the drawing board at some point.

@darkprince2: I found it funny how he said it was 'detailed' when all they did was say it was 'nearing competition' and 'currently in playtesting'. That's a lot of detail.

This didn't detail anything Eddie. Your headline is blatantly false. By that logic one could say the NX has been detailed for finally being avowed that it exists, or that Mass Effect: Andromeda was detailed when someone said they played it the other day on twitter. Grow some integrity.

Couldn't be bothered to put the price in the headline? Had to stick it down there in faint gray? lrn2headline Eddie. At least you didn't say "This VR Headset Price Confirmed".

@RicanV: That's standard as they're considered the same item. If you were to have just purchased the PS4 version you would've automatically received the Vita version as well and seen it tagged as 'purchased' on refreshing the store page. The Vita, PS3 and PS4 stores all have some weird interactions when it come sot crossbuy but rest assured that tagging just one will get the rest when it comes to the PS+ IGC titles.

@TheWatcher000: At least the headline didn't start with "This Developer..." as per most of Eddie's worthless clickbait articles. He puts out normal decent articles too, dunno why he feels the need to have zero integrity most of the time.
