So when it only rakes in $2.8 billion are the shareholders going to decide it's a failed franchise and that no one actually wants GTA anymore and cancel the franchise?
Clicking on something that doesn't say it costs anything and then it not cost anything isn't exactly an exploit.
I don't think they're letting people keep it out of the kindness of their hearts, I think they're just legally obligated to honor the transaction being that at no point did it say it cost something.
If it had said it was $10 then it went through and didn't actually charge you, that would be different and they could probably revoke those purchases.
@nintendians: That's a shame, maybe they've improved since then?
Regardless, just down the article is a link to a Gulikit hall effect stick kit which I wouldn't be surprised was better anyway.
But each their own. This wouldn't be an issue in the first place if Sony made better controllers. They're such a lottery, I've had about 6 PS5 controllers so far this generation and 4 of them had incredibly awful drift in less than a year. 6th one is still an unknown quantity since it came with my Pro so it's still pretty new.
@nintendians: Hyperkin's a good brand generally. Gulikit makes good stuff too. I put Gulikit hall effect sticks in my switch Joycons and they've been super reliable for well over a year, dramatically more accurate than the default sticks too.
That said, the joycon joysticks are basically drop in repairs, the PS5 joysticks require a ton of soldering to install so if there's any point of failure it's going to be a poor install.
Every time they put out a major patch they have to spend the next 3-6 months fixing everything they re-broke, so they clearly don't want to be stuck with that kind of commitment.
