@Goyoshi12 @YoungCardinal Understandable, but as you stated, Sims 3 was your first experience in the franchise.

If you played the originals and see the same DLC become available (pets, seasons etc) you would understand how "cheated" I would feel to have to pay another $30 for the same DLc that played in Sims 1 and 2

@Goyoshi12

The "out of hand" reason is exactly why I've lost all interest or support for the Sims. They milk the series with too much DLC, and I personally find it irritating that they re-release the same expansions.

Having played the original and Sims 2, and what I've heard from friends about Sims 3, they keep milking and rehashing the same expansions (The Sims 2 Nightlife, Vacation, Pets, Seasons etc all had equivalent predecessors in the original. Sims 2 added open for business and university that were great, but Sims 3 seemed to add nothing new to the series, apart from decor expansions (at least thats how it seemed to me)

Only way to get me to support Sims 4 is if they built in some of the expanisions directly into the base game (University, pets and seasons at the very least should not be expansions). Don't think many will be too kind to have to but those particular expansions 3 or 4 times.

MP was one of this games weaknesses and not something you would associate to this kind of game. There really was no point to include it. It costs money to outsource development...thats why the game was considered a failure even though it sold a respectable 5M copies or so.

Rome Total War, Arma 3 (a real military shooter, CoD and Killzone for run and gun shooters) , DayZ,Starcraft, Company of Heroes 2, Elder Scrolls Online, Skyrim (heavily modded with 2k textures etc, can make it one the of the most atmospheric and realistic games to date), Dota 2...to name a few + the titles already listed above...

Many genres of games listed above simply aren't logical possible on a console without a mouse/keyboard input and even though you can plug in those perihperals to consoles its not the same from an ergonomics standpoint.

All the games you just listed are INTENTIONALLY exclusives but with no merit, so they can sell more consoles units. PC gaming does not limit the userbase, is an open platform thats open to the modding community which adds countless hours of additional content to games, free of charge...

Bungie has not denied a PC release for the game (its rumored to be for all current and next-gen platforms, including the PC)

And sorry to say, but it appears GTAV will be on the PC too (maybe a few months after the console versions), but they have put every other GTA title on PC so it doesn't seem like they will start with GTAV.

The only reason Killzone will not be on PC is because Sony needs to offer exclusives to tempt people to buy they consoles...

You clearly have no idea about PC gaming as your first post tried to make it seem like all PC gamers are WOW fans...

Enjoy playing on an 80" 1080p resolution, meanwhile, I will be able to play my games on a higher resolution monitor and will have the ability to play 4K resolution through HDMI very shortly.

@Imperiacommando

You mean to say play games that aren't even out yet...even though two of which you stated will be on the PC anyway and have support for resolutions higher than 1080p?

Of course its marketing hype.

With the arrival of 4k gaming, these next-gen consoles will be out of date far sooner than the current 7-year lifespan of the current consoles (Titan already can suppport 4k, so its going to start emerging very quickly).

Sony has confirmed that there will be no 4k gaming support in the foreseeable future and the 4k playback will be possible down the road, but because of the nature of a console using a mid-low end graphics card it won't have the horsepower in 5 years to run those resolutions.

Before anyone trys to defend consoles and use the $1000 Titan arguement vs console price...keep in mind that is one generation of card (enthusiast level, but still one generation).

The latest rumors are that the 780 will be a lower-end Titan (with gk110 architecture) than will likely resale for the same 550-600 price point and be capable of 4k too. The 780 would too be considered a gen 1 gk100 architecture product. In three to 5 years the, you will start seeing that same kind of performance on the low-end 9xx series and beyond.

Your questioning why they have a need for the show. Thinking that Gamespot's views and expressions are somehow selfish and the "only" views allowed?

Gamespot does not feel like this. They simply defend their rationale and reasoning for such a score and the amount of immature gamers who rage, insult or even threaten when the reviewer doesn't agree.

Some reviews may be questionable (sometimes even hyrocritical), but there's a difference of having a rational and mature level of expression of why the gave a game such a score, and an obnoxious gamer that thinks everything is a 8 or 9 out of 10 and whine when someone disagrees with their opinion.

Feedbackula is not a serious show by any stretch of the imagination. Its more a comical show that tends to point out the sheer stupidity and outrage people get over a difference of opinion (the critics score vs the viewers personal opinion) and the hilarious things people tend to say in outrage.

They purposely filter out the good "rational" responses, for comedic affect.

I personally enjoy the show (one of GS's better ones) as it goes to show how spoiled, arrogant or self-less a lot of people are as if their opinions are more important than others.

That's a good perspective to view it from, but I honestly still think the later CoD games deserve some criticism from professional critics for using same formula over and over again as it starts to get stale very quickly.

CoD4 deserved a 9 or 9.5, but with each subsequent release, each should have lost points for for repetition. Treyarch added something new with zombies, but with the latest BO2, its gotten stale too in my mind.

I also find it upsetting that EA has a monopoly on the sports genre that results in less effort each year. 2k sports put a bit of pressure on them for a few years and now they are back to the same lazy feel it seems.
