@Hellhound30x @Random_Matt That only affected a small amount of people and was recoverable. Unlike say something like the red ring of death that was permanent.
You clearly are misinformed about PC gaming. I haven't even updated my Bios since getting this computer (all the same hardware). People don't update the Bios whenever theres an update, its mostly for new hardware support. Most modern motherboards also come with Dual-Bios incase anything does go wrong.
@thermalmotion @dreamcast210 Which is why if the Kinect was sold as an accessory, then more would pre-order the One.
Microsoft can claim all they want that the Kinect is essential to the core experience, but many still find it a gimmick/accessory and some don't like the idea of it always on/connected.
They could have advertised the importance of all the new Kinect features as a valued accessory, but they should have made it an optional purchase. As it stands now, if yours were to break your console becomes a giant brick in the living room.
Bethesda's main studio behind Oblivion/FO3/Skyrim released each approximately 3 years apart from each other. Oblivion and Skyrim were both announced during the Spike VGA's and F03 during E3.
I'm optimistic we may see an announcement of FO4 this VGA's for a spring or Fall 2014 release. That would put it at the usual 3-year development timeframe :)
@buffaloblitz85 @YoungCardinal Thats why I always refute these pointless polls that just waste money trying to collect data :)
Many times polls are manipulative or target particular audiences. This one is an example as it considers playing games listed above we both agree shouldn't count :P
@buffaloblitz85 @YoungCardinal The number is actual a significant deal for representation. You can't get an accurate normal distribution with such a small sample size. If you had a 50k or more polled then you could get a better understanding/representation of a much larger overall audience (when you consider they are millions of console gamers in the U.S alone).
My guess is that due to the small sample size, many 'gamers' polled included solitaire and facebook and mobile phone games.
