@Coseniath: The GPU performance per watt will significantly improved by then and also HBM2 will give it a massive boost, but I still think pushing for 2017 is a stretching it really. I don't think 4K TV's are really viable consumer products just yet either. Give it another year (2018) and they will become more affordable, and GPU performance and prices would also be better. 4K TV prices have dropped a lot in the last few years, but consumer adoption of them isn't that high just yet (local cables companies here are only now just starting to offer 4K content). It will take another couple years before it becomes mainstream (so waiting an additional year to the hardware can keep up would be beneficial to trying and rush and then can't handle the performance.

Another thing regarding VR, to get the best experience it really needs to be higher than 60Hz too, so targeting 60FPS 4K isn't ideal.

@Sohereiam: CSGO has skins for guns and steam client has a marketplace where you trade and sell items you get (whether from ingame drops or purchases of cases). You buy keys to unlock cases to try and get something rare (like a knife). Over time cases get discontinued and rarer skins rise in value, cases rise in value on the market (same thing with purchaseable stickers and other ingame items).

Buy them off the market for dirt cheap while they are still common, wait and then make tons of steam wallet.

@Sohereiam: I haven't had to add funds to Steam in almost 2 years now with the CSGO market economy :)

Literally buy 3 cent cases and stickers and wait and have $1000 by the end of the year. Rinse and repeat and free games.

@LpcWarrior: Its been a week since the 2nd episode aired... If you haven't caught up by now then you shouldn't been looking online for anything related if you want to avoid spoilers....

@Tyson8earzz: When you adjust the box office sales with inflation prices the original Star Wars earned $1.5B and Titanic earned ~$1.1B.

New blockbusters now will continue to break records when the cost of an admission ticket plus added fees for 3D etc all add up to a more expensive ticket now than in the past too.

@louixiii: Well the movie hasn't even hit Chinese theaters yet so I'm sure you can expect a daily update from now until January 9th detailing its progress, followed by countless other updates until its no longer in theaters...

@grin89: Fallout 4 on PC wasn't given to some third party developer with a history of known poor ports.

@Thanatos2k: Never experienced broken quests playing skyrim or fallout before (New vegas had a few glitches, but nothing game breaking for me, which isnt even Bethesda studios game). I've been anxiously waiting for this game since NV honestly so can't wait for a flawless bug free game.

Also as a steam user, I've built up a decent inventory from playing CSGO so can't complain about getting this practically for free :)

@Thanatos2k: While I would typically agree with you,

I have trust with very few studios (Bethesda and CD Projekt RED, very short list) that what they release will be be a very good experience upon release :).

I can forgive a few minor glitches, which get patched fairly quickly from these companies. Have never once been dissatisfied with their games, so have no reason to worry really. Worst case I get a refund from steam.

EA, Activision, Ubisoft and even Gearbox, and a few others have proven track records of faulty launches, so those are definitive wait until release/review games.

@The_Mystery_Box: Peak time occured during the day time dummy (7-9am NA, which would even be later afternoon/early evening for most in Europe. Well before most would be busy with Halloween...
