Games do cause violence, but only the kind that causes kids to fight over who's turn it is, even for non-violent games. That is about it.

@Darkman2007 Yes, but even if parents are more vigilant, or completely negligent, there is still no proof that there is a direct correlation between violence in games, and violence in the real world. I am not suggesting that it is therefore ok to sit an infant in front of a violent game and hand them the controller, I just don't think that games are to blame for these random acts of violence of late.

@zowbaid The US is doing just fine when it comes to gaming too. There are just too many guns, easy access to them, and too many crazy people that go undiagnosed in the US. That is the issue, not gaming.
