My explanation stands Jooj read your many worlds interpretation please I beg you, before correcting my infinite wording....

You have failed to explain this game. Rather you have posted mechanic's which as themselves don't function as a story line. In conclusion his fate was always the same as from your wiki postings, and regardless of whatever path or possibility that reality could not be altered as they would all result in the same outcomes.

Whatever the reality, and or the beings encountered, these where often only the fragments of his mind. The other lighthouses all reflected the same mirror's and eventually all showing his outcome or fate.

Was he also part of the twins or in relation to? Quite possibly engineering the entire set of parallels and possibilites, while being infinitely aware. Had he survived as from the ending credits.

His daughter had similiar powers as she was the survivor and was through his choices and fate was what would draw them together. Although in the outcome she would eventually be both of their undoings.

Please offer to be a direct explanation. Rather then some hyperbole. Showing through game that in multiple parallel worlds those quantum mechanic's engineer together a story line with all these colourful characters events and places. Who all share the same fate and outcome if they aren't all infact the same mind and persons related to it. Which have either not existed prior to this story through his parallel paths of redemption, or having engineered the story through that existance prior.

The reason Booker is dead is because he died at the baptism. Smother him. The first sceen is him with the twins rowing him to the destination of this storyline. This is him in the afterlife after he already had died beforehand. Showing the sea, then lighthouse all quite hazey and surreal . The lighthouse he went through was only one set of possibilities connecting his particular fate or his set of memories that he had made. The lighthouse had already clued you into his death from the very start and again his rebirth upon entry into what seemed like heaven at the beggining. The nosebleed was explained as death everyone who had a nosebleed in game was already dead. His path of redemption throughout this game couldn't undue his past as he had already died.

Why is he the Songbird? I may be totally wrong with this entire synopisis. It was an alternate ego of both the combined Comstock and Booker who both held Liz's interests to close at heart effectively smothering her. 1 had caged her the other 1 sought after her to repay the debt, both overly protective of her, wouldn't harm or kill her, and could be called to protect her. Though ultimately the songbird died from drowning as well as coming from another set of possibilities through a parallel tear. Shown in it's kinky BDSM garb and being that supreme alter ego and destoryer of worlds.

The infinite universe where only infinite possibilites of what might have been had Booker infact lived each one showing or leading to his death. All the themes and references throughout the game showed this of heaven hell, angel demons, if only as a red herring to explain the multiple dimesions of the impossible if infact he was alive and could somehow alter his fate. No he really couldn't and his redemption didn't make up for the fact he didn't exist.

Now I do accept my view is might be one side, please correct me if I am utterly wrong? I just don't buy all the crap that says infinite parrallel universes. In other dimesions, that are made from supreme beings. If he could never change the simple fact that he didn't exist and his mind only carried him to that fate throughout his journey.

The other mind **** could have been the twins where him aswell after being reunited with his lost daughter or wife. Set to guide him on his path in making his redemption. Though ultimately they where not and are easily explained as being the creators or god being both male and female of a singular mind

In all honesty the duration was far to short.

The AI was often stupid, they had zones where they wouldn't follow you, so you could pull and camp them. I had x2 handyman in 99 mode commit suicide. I had to restart another game on the end zepplin because some dude jumped off the gunboat wrong as the Songbird hit it, resulting him on lower level. Also again, with an Undertow another enemy got stuck somewhere. The Flak cannon and Fireman were the best enemies as their guns could hit you through cover. Most of the time AI would just run around back and forth scrathing their heads. The gear, invunerability off any health taken, and invunerability off jumping on/off skyline, and health from killing enemy when low health, made it quite easy. The vigors 8 why? I never really used all of them Charge, and vigor 8. I still don't know what they did. Bronco and Devil's kiss for total pawnage. Unless mechanical then Shock. Many enemies and Possession, or place Devil's kIss and Crow's traps everywhere, and get more salts. Or Bronco and Undertow send them off the map. Mainly Devil's Kiss for boomboom. It would have been nice having the DPAD for vigors, keeping the shoulder key for combo presets. Sniper rifle, carbine, shotgun, pistol great weapons.

Great fun and truly awesome story, loved the RPG choice of upgrades and the fun of collecting the collectibles. Honestly I feel really ripped off because total completion took few days...

Booker Dewit, is Comstock, and Songbird. He was already dead before the lighthouse? The lighthouse is death and the gateway into the possibilities of what was, if he had been. Wasn't the Twins, god, or some other ultimate being, showing them as male and female of the same mind, and the creators? The fact is, you travelled through a particular lighthouse that unravelled this game's story. Which later showed you other possiblities of infinite other lighthouses. This was meant as explanation to the alternate people above, who were all that same identity within this story. These already had also died. This is why the many references throughout the game with its themes such as. Angels and devils, heaven and hell, good and evil, right and wrong, black and white etc. Although no paradox, or alternate reality could change what was, which you were already dead. This shown countless times throughout the game in almsot every reality and was explained early with the nose bleeds. The Songbird was the twist, but all it was is the combination of both Booker and Comstock who both had Liz in their interests and wouldn't kill her, but kept her caged or repaid the debt.

Ultimately though think Evul Lizzy had taken to much acid, and this story should have been infinitely longer. A story like this played 7-15 hours taking a few days to 1k, BAH that's the real head fuk.

Later in the game the vigor machines sell all upgrades to them around Empora. Possession was one that was odd only certain machines stocked the 2nd upgrade prior to Empora priced after its orginal 50 bucks suicide upgrade. The 2nd upgrade is 1600-1800 few machines stocked this. A very important upgrade, it lowers salt cost of Possession. Personally Devil's Kiss fully upgraded and Possession are the only 2, I would bother with upgrading fully. It is possible to miss collecting vigors

. But when you want to be the good guy, you get the short-end of the stick. One knock-out. That's it. Except, I found that in Infinite, the combat wasn't as great as the first 2 bioshocks. Why? Because the powers were generally the same. You didn't use certain powers out of necessity... You used them out of preference. CriticalGamer92

Dishonoured you also have the sleep darts from the crossbow. It wasn't great at all just tedious infact when playing good. While lethal was just to damn easy

Bioshock certainly fails on the vigours, most are identical. Using mostly bronco or undertow because of the related filler achieves except shock jockey for patriots and doors. Kinda fails to have all 8, the combo used for what 1 of the 3 handymen providing you spec'ed mana fully? The LB wheel is annoying. The D pad would have be quicker.

I don't want to get into an arguement about this but Dishonored in my opinion had O balance on it's gameplay. I made the mistake of playing my first playthrough using. Ghost, Shadow, Mostly Flesh and Steel, Clean Hands, Art Dealer, and Occultist. I played this through on a Normal mode. The game was insanely hard doing this. I thought that I couldn't upgrade my weapons or use charms either. There wasn't any need as I wasn't using them. I then played the a game on hardest difficulty and ran through every level taking on most of the entire levels enemies and kill them all without dying. The only time when I would die would be to the pointless filler achievements like, Back Home, Harm's Way, Manipulator etc. The gamplay was very hard if you went as an assassin without magic, without being seen, and also without killing. Although it was riduculously easy so very simple if you played with all your available skills. There was no challenge apart from the annoying achievements. Stealth was it necessary, no. You literally could kill 15 enemies at once through magic and sword crossbow/gun, excluding tallboy's and some traps which you easily disarmed or avoided. The levels where bleak the characters where dull, the story was okay but became tedious, the graphics weren't that good.

Unlike Deus EX where you would need stealth more often then not on a lethal playthrough while triggering alarms because the enemies where hard to kill and would swarm you and kill you as easily.

BioShock Infinite doesn't compare. In your mind, because there are robotic enemies and an alternative city set in a similar timeline the 18th century and girl to be rescued. These games are therefore comparible?. You don't need an inventory to win, you don't need all the guns accessible. Use your vigors as you maintain a full balance of ammo on the guns unequipped. The difficuiltes are great. The story with it humor is enjoyable to play through. No there isn't stealth and you don't have many choices on who to kill and save because your killing them all so to speak within this story line. The graphic's are very good. They are two very different games

I fail to understand your logic? Or by nature your comparisons.

Dishonoured won game of the year last year. There really wasn't many canidates though. However it is a totally separate game that cannot be identifed as similar to Bioshock at all in any way. The game play in Dishonoured on hardest difficulty was easy if you used magic with stealth. Although ultimately so simplistic if you just killed for fun without caring to much about stealth. Play without magic and using stealth, by being good and not killing, or even by lethal and killing, the game became a formidable challenge. There was no real balance to it. The story and graphic's where okay although a little tedious.

BioShock is an infinitely different game to the above and cannot be compared at all really. There is no stealth you kill stuff outright. The story line is fun clever and with a lot of humour a big difference. Which doesn't involve you sneaking back and forth as an assassin because you are a bounty hunter. You use magic but this is vigors which are more or less Shocks combining with your guns to kill enemies or disable them. The gameplay is fantastic by any FPS standards.

Clever way for her to manage her assets, claiming the tax back. Not so clever when you consider they have to be maintained what? Every 5 or so years with yet another boob job. Scar boobs are yucky big scars on the bottom of the breast or nipple, sometimes under the arm on more expensive surgery. They tend to sag bad at the sides after a few years of the implant regardless of age and need to be maintained with yet another boob job.

Atleast she managed to say I can pay for them next time, having got herself a new job in anal porno, with her face and those lazy eyes can't you tell.

Yes, I think you are. What separates BIOShock from alot of FPS games is that fact that the single player is so immersive, the details, the story line, the characters, each background and setting. This really doesn't need to be spoiled by having some cheap lvl to 60, 3-5 maps, of a few mini mode games multi-played. While then shortening a really great game to achieve this as an extra. If you are thinking campaign co-op that would just spoil this fantastic game altogether. How annoying would 3 Lizzy's be? Or queuing up for a vending machine or skipping the little recordings and video's as your partner rushes on. It would turn this game into Borderlands and that would be a total waste.

Leave multi-player to those dediacted multi-player shooters and go play COD or HALO or your own preference of multi-played shooter. While letting the rest of us enjoy this great game in all it settings for what it is.

The only advice to multi-player is make your game single player campaign bigger.........
