@siritokakyou: hmmm. Just sold my ps4 pro and yet still Have an Xbox one and an Xbox one s. I also have a switch. I guess it's all I need:) PS4, Xbox one and PC all share almost the exact same library. I'd say choose 1 of the 3 and get a Nintendo and your set.
@werpu: Ps Now is $99.99 in Canada. They don't even charge the extra $35 For the exchange rate or tax. So, it's really only about $75 USD per year. Oh, and I didn't even see Canada on your list...a ps3 slim with 500gb is about $120 used with no games...you don't really seem to be very accurate with your statements...
@zinten: yeah. Just because Nintendo marketed it as a home console, doesn't mean it is. I have only docked to charge it and play all around my house. It is a handheld to me. I'd rather play Xbox one or ps4 when using my big screen....
@avanzi: it's a port. The game was created for and optimised for Wii U and ported to Switch. Ports generally are a carbon copy of the original if not a bit worse. The real deal here is the home console experience on the go. It is something no other product offers. If it's not your thing, it's not your thing....
@therealone717: how is it a mistake? Over 2 million sold at launch with over 100% attach rate for Zelda. That is frigging Insane! Bundling the game would have lost them over 120 million dollars so far. Give your head a shake.
@grimakis: a mobile phone can be connected to a tv. Do you call it a home console then? Or a hybrid? How about a laptop or tablet? They can also be connected to a tv which makes them consoles or hybrids, right?
If Nintendo released the exact same console to spec(As the Switch), but it wasn't portable it would be about the same power as the Wii U. And It would fail miserably. Because it would be redundant. But, because they made the console portable it is successful...so far. Leave it in your dock and call it a home console if you want though, because let's be real here, you're just replaying Wii U games or experiencing them for the first time because you never bought a Wii U. And if that's the case, you bought it because It's portable;)
