A developer for Haze made some big comments in regards to the PlayStation 3.

Wrong. The power of the ps3 is not greater than a PC Powerhouse. It will never be. 360 perhaps but these are just censored comments in the sense that they are exclusive to ps3 on this game

I remember being BLOWN AWAY by the graphics. The water in those canyons. YUM. 

If you have a good TV that does 3:2 pulldown correctly, this is really a non-issue.

Unfortunately, a LOT of TV's don't, including mine!

yeah it will upconvert games fine and DVD is not HDMI only its only Copyprotected dvds that cant upscale threw anything but hdmi

Yeah, but 99% of the DVDs most people watch are copy protected. Plus, your HDTV already has to upscale DVDs. You probably wouldn't even notice a difference. I know I didn't.

Well I have a 1080p TV and I noticed a HUGE difference. 

The complainers are just perplexing to me. How can you complain about updates that happen so often? It seems like Sony is dedicating a lot of time and energy to improve your experience.

Not to mention that these releases are HIGH RISK. They need to go through an amazing amount of QA before release. Sony can't afford to release a bad firmware update and potentially screw a lot of PS3 owners.

I am VERY impressed with the updates so far.

BTW - How's the game upscaling? Do widescreen PS2 games fill the screen now? What's up with the "smooting" feature?
