I don't understand how people think it is very short. I find it very long and entertaining. I don't know, I must be tolerant or something.

Patatopan

Well despite how you find it, it is a 6 hour campaign in a genre where 12 hours is standard. Basically if you buy it for the single player only you payed twice what an average FPS would cost per hour.

Playing it on hard and having to repeat the same level over and over again does not count as being a longer game.

I like the monthly fee system. First its cheaper for me than buying a new game every month and second, with a monthly fee I get more updates and support, better servers, and to be frank it tends to weed out a lot of the more annoying people who don't care that much about playing the game.

Almost all modern games are implementing this now. I don't know if you are aware that Nvidia owns the rights now and is implementing the technology into its graphic cards. I think there are games that are helped by having the software installed whether or not you have the physics card but HL2 didn't use this technology. Overall I doubt this is the problem but you would have to tell us exactly what problems you are having to get more of an idea.

It does have a fee. $15/month in US. I am not sure how you are playing but I would check into it before you get a bad surprise. Its a tough call whether you want to highlight this or not since you will probably end up having to pay but I think its the right thing to do.

Two things come to mind. The first is that you don't have enough memory to load the game. google how to increase your page file and that might help.

The more likly I think is that your antivirus or vista it's self might need permission to run the program and might not let it load until it gets the permission. Have you tried hiting cntrl+alt+delete and checking to see if a permission box is running? This has happened to me on several games with vista and it hasn't been that big a deal except sometimes its hard to minimize the game to click the accept button. Either way I would look into this because it should be a one time fix.

First of all $100? Thats way too much for an old game. Secondly it is very short but its really an online multiplayer game and the single player is just supplemental.

I think morrowind has a lot more variety in the scenery. Walking through mountain passes or the wind gusts in the desert or the lush swampy river fronts gives an incredible experience. Oblivion was much more homogeneous. Also Oblivion was hurt a lot by the creatures leveling with you. Morrowind is better hands down.
