[QUOTE="Tannerr33"]I have two catapults, but i thought they were for lobbing boulders at troops behind the wall...ha, i did not think i could aim them at the walls...and they are only good for one shot each...they dont auto-reload. I will try again. The most successful strategy in the total war games is usually to wait the city out. Siege but don't attack. Eventually they will have to come out and fight you or risk starvation. Then you fight them on your terms and you will save a lot of troops that way. Don't be in a hurry to take over the world too quick. You need some of the following.. rams, ladders, siege towers, catapults, and/or elephants to breach walls. Once your actually in the walls you need to take the center region of the city.

Well The Longest Journey versions are pretty expensive if you buy them in unopened condition. For $10 its definitely worth it as long as graphics aren't a huge concern.Looks good. Glad to see people still play adventure games. Steam has the Longest Journey and Indigo Prophecy for $10 each should I purchase them? (Not sure if I could even find retail versions of these games, much less know if they'd cost less)

[QUOTE="ironman388"]go with a 955. its the same chip just a lower clock. the i5 performs better (not really for games) however the socket has no big future while the AM3 is going to supported for a while Y'know people keep saying that the 1156 is a dead socket... How? Did I miss some big joke that intel did not in fact release yet another load of chips for the 1156? In the end no socket has a"big future." They will all be replaced by something better and with more pins. I agree. Intel has a roadmap into 2013 for the 1156. This will most likely be the socket of the future for the midrange market over the old 775 socket.[QUOTE="halo2_4_pc"] Still, I would like to know if I should go with the Core i5 or the Phenom II X4 965 if I have been refunded after all.Angry_Mushroom
