well you can load any game onto steam, but to not need the disk you must buy the game through steam so I don't think you can do what you want to.

Incase you dont know a gearhead is a major fan of the GearsOfWar series. Punk is reporting in.

PuNk_dUdE7
Uhhhh no. A gearhead is someone who likes to work on cars (ahlah the pc game Gearhead Garage). No pc gamer could be a major fan of thew thoroughly mediocre Gears of War.

I will try taking out one stick of RAM i have a 32 bit windows xp home thanks for your replys

SrgInsane
you probably can't take out just one stick. DDR2 memory which is probably what you have is paired. You need to have either 2 or 4 sticks of ram. Also you never said what settings you were trying to run. What resolution, what detail level, and what antialliasing multipliers are you trying to run?

Well there have certainly been problems in the past but I think any new game will run in 64 bit. Older games can be a problem though.

[QUOTE="DarkPrince_ssj2"]Only these 2 RobertBowen? I don't think so because I did a lot of research and I will be able to run at least 5 of these games because most of these games were realesed before 2005.

Part of the problem though is not whether your chip is capable of playing games made before 2005, but if they are programed to work with an integrated chip. In other words its not just a matter a power but also of compatibility. Some of these such as max payne have been patched to work with some integrated chips but tha'ts probably the exception rather than the rule.

Well I am sure you know your graphic chip is the weak link and the processor will hold you back too. I can tell you for sure to forget mirror's edge, far cry 2, fallout 3, cod waw, crysi, and bioshock. You probably need to do a little research on the rest. I would google your graphic chip together with the game name to see if anyone has been able to get it to work.
