you would have to look it up on google but I am sure there is a tag you can add to your exe file to not run the opening movie (example: mafia.exe -nointro) Again I am not sure what the tag is but there will be one if you look.

You can not buy a cd-key legally. Read the EULA people. As far as steam you might be able to make that work but once again making a modification to the copy protection is against the EULA and is illegal. Most of the problems with DRM are imagined and if you use steam then you are automatically verified on games like GTA4 so there is no reason to use a non-DRM torret. If you are just not using DRM of of principle then that is completely fine, but the legal solution is to not buy a game containing DRM and not to download a torrent which is almost always illegal in these cases.

It is a standard feature in civ4 but you better make more than one turn every few days because games can be 500 turns. You might also look at medieval total war. I don't remember if multiplayer was built in or a mod but its a really good game to play against people.

oh one thing to try for sure is to put it in compatibility mode for XP. If that doesn't work then try Windows 98. To do this you right click on the executable file. go to properties. go to compatibility. select XP from the drop down meu.

I don't know what your problem is but I can tell you I have played Mafia on my Vista 32-bit machine. Why are you unable to run it? does it crash to desktop? Freeze? Do you get to the main menu? Also did you patch the game and have you updated your graphic drivers?

here's most of my collection. I buy a lot on steam now but I still buy boxes for any game I want the manual for. Aren't you glad they don't make those big boxes anymore?

Well you have good specs but not great. Your video card in particular is a little bit light. The best systems all now are running at least two top end video cards. Also your resolution is pretty high. The single biggest resource hog is resolution. Also the 64 bits drivers may not be optimized to begin with so even if your system is good enough the drivers may hold you back. Finally you have a ton of RAM but its partly quality and not just quantity. What is your RAMs clock speed? Keep in mind also that many games have graphic options too high for any current systems to help them age better. It seems like I played Fallout 3 on pretty high settings but its a possibility. I think drivers and graphic card are the mian culprits though.

I think there are a few more main quests, The ending happens when you go to the jefferson memorial for the second time. Also note that you cannot play side quests after finishing the main quest so go ahead and do some side missions.

I have an e8400 shoudl I upgrade it know" or should I just wait another six months?MasterC5
First of all your processor is still quite good. Also you should know that intel has said they will use a new socket for their next generation cpu's so you would be best off waiting since you will have to buy a new mother board and cpu going into the future.

Fallout 3 is definitely longer but personally I loved both. I think fallout 3 is closer to oblivion than mass effect.
