Okay then that's a little harder. What Operating system are you using? What video card? And what's the exact error message?

Just reinstall the game. You probably just have a corrupted file.

Why would yo buy it off ebay? You can buy iut direct from steam or with the orange box. It is an online only game so if whomever you buy it from has activated it, I don't think you will be able to play it. Steam games are registered under a specific user. Personally I would take the safe route and buy it on steam or in a store, but I guess if you are getting a really good bargain maybe its worth the risk to you.

Well to be honest there really aren't any good ones. But you can try Archlord which is passable. Also you can search through the forum. Believe it or not people have asked this questions before. :)

Uhh. Yeah you are hilarious!

Yes, I did dl it from gamespot. They do more than just have forums for you to post idiotic and uniformed comments.

Zombies? really.

Actually gamespot doesn't really sell them. They allow digital purchases of some games through TRYMEDIA. You would have to talk to their tech support

Yeah you don't really need anything but an internet connection. Plenty of free servers are available and you just log onto them. In l4d this mostly happens behind the scenes so you can just log on and join a game. Its an awsome game btw.

personally I don't like track ir because it doesn't feel that natural to turn your head 10 degrees and it turns 50. It would be cool if you had a wrap around monitor but I think I would go with the joystick you like instead although I don't use the x52

Well I have vista and love it but I don't think there is a compelling reason to upgrade. You are right it uses more resources but it also better utilizes multicore processors. A minus for memory; A plus for cpu The problem is they no longer make XP and for a normal person who just orders or walks into a store and buys a pc, vista is their only option. And its not a bad one by the way. Windows 7 will probably have the same amount of flaws as XP and Vista. (Do you remember XP before service pack 2? It was buggy). I would wait a year after release to get it. If you need to buy and OS before that go with vista.
