I don't know specifically about rt2 or play.com but I do know that avg makes mistakes all the time. Its a little over zelous and counts on you to know whether the warning is valid or not. I would go ahead and ignore it after making sure that play.com doesn't put some advertising bug in the game.

Okay I know I am going to be offensive here but if Medieval total war 2 was too complex maybe you should just switch to tic-tac-toe. Its a really simplistic game thats basically a game of risk with the illusion of complexity.

To me thats sort of like a burglar deciding not to rob the family going bankrupt anymore when their first roberies are why the family is going down the tubes. I guess thats not that great an analogy but my point is these people are criminals and there is no reason for us to act like they have done some benevolent gesture by not engaging in criminal acts.

I guess I would ask is it worth paying six figures for a car that goes an extra 40 miles an hour? PC has the highest capabilities and having the best costs more money. I don't think pc gaming is worth the money for casual gamers but if you don't want to settle $270 isn't really that bad is it?

These are the specs to my computer, would the suggested games work well?

4GB, DDR2, 667MHz 2 Dimm

320G 5400RPM SAMSUNG Hard Drive

Intel Core 2 Duo T5750(2.0GHz, 667Mhz, 2M L2 Cache)

Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 Inspiron 1420

Would i have trouble finding people to play online with on some of the older games such as nfsc?

buttsniff13

That graphics card is going to kill you on almost any of the games mentioned. I would try using one of those websites that tell you if a game will work on your system because thats going to be really marginal for gtr2.

Also you say 4 gig so I assume your running a 64 bit os? That could cause you problems too.

About 6 months.aaronmullan

What specifically comes out in 6 months? I don't know of any game scheduled for release this year that is supposed to be more demanding than crysis. Age of Conan is probably the closest thing so far but I think crysis will rein for awhile. Don't forget its not a good thing to make a game that very few can play.

Its worth noting though that Crysis wasn't as optimized as it could have been and the crytec team has supposedly made a lot of strides in warhead or whatever the new one is called.

I typically don't bash games but I didn't care for stalker much either. It seems like a good game but just never really sucked me in.

basically anything involving killing followers. Throwing rocks at their buildings or just throwing them is a good start.

I guess goodbye to good cohesive story lines. RPGs are better suited to open worlds but for an FPS I prefer a really good story that I get walked through. The trick of course is to make the game linear but not feel linear. (Ex. Half-life)
