yes all combat is based on dice role mechanics. Its a true board game rpg adaptation. There are mods that change this mechanic to more of a point and shoot mechanic but I have never used any of them. Personally I always use mele weapons and blood skills when I can.

yeah, graphics aren't too big of a deal since I'm playing Deus Ex without anything, however Deus Ex graphics are my limit.gamerguy845
Bloodline is considerably better in the graphics department then Deus Ex. It was made 4 years later and features photo realistic texturing. I do think the game styles are a good comparison. The mechanics aren't though. Bloodlines is much more of an RPG in that you can point a gun right at someone and often miss since its based on tabletop diceroll style hit detection. The writing in both is excellent though.

One other reason people like blodlines is because it offers some of the most memorable characters and levels of any game. Who can forget the haunted house level, or the twins, or the vampire hunter house, or the prosthetic maker? I can't remember a single character in oblivion or KOTOR (although I love both games) hardly but I remember almost all of Bloodlines.

you can often find one on an mmo forum. Just search around a bit. Also I use urban dictionary online for a lot of internet shortcuts when I don't understand them.

I would either start favoriting good servers or selecting one with "no bots" in the title. This is a common practice of some servers and valve has proposed a way to fix it involving a server ranking system that got critisized quite a bit. I suspect though that there will be a fix at some point in the future.

I am surprised no one has mentioned yet that PC has entire genres that virtually don't exist on consoles. We have strategy games, mmo's, and adventure games. Also pc gets a wider variety of rpg's and shooters than any console due to console exclusives that eventually come to pc.

Also you have to look at the marginal additional cost of going to pc gaming. You will have a pc anyways that you are going to spend $500-$1000 on whether you game or not so investing another $300 like you would for an xbox 360 or ps3 isn't that big a deal or that much more expensive.

you might consider one of the total war games. they contain two parts: a civilization style conquest strategy and a battle strategy. You fight battles with only the troops you bring in and generally no reinforcements. The battles revolve mainly around using proper battlefield strategy to win and not simply huge numbers of troops.

no all you do is download and install the driver. make sure its for your card or it won't work but you can't cause any damage.
