Was the OP being facetious or were they actually serious with that commentary?

Congrats to that team. Steam Deck is a helluva piece of kit.

Truly mobile gaming with the flexibility of a PC is insane.

What do you mean, "right" or "wrong"? This isn't a hostile takeover. It's two parties agreeing to terms.

Activision wants to be bought. Why would it be any more right or wrong for them vs...any other company?

Kid Icarus

Ghosts & Goblins

Gradius and other shumps

As far as complexity goes, the old Spectrum Holobyte flight sim games came with 300-500 page manuals.

I just wish everyone could play GT7 in VR one time.

Or Elite Dangerous in VR one time.

They're really eye-opening experiences when it comes to gaming immersion. They make you realize how limited your gaming experience has really been up until VR. And how much further the medium can be pushed.

Many on here have tried VR and while they were impressed, the novelty lacks legs.

I didn't say "try VR". I said, "Try GT7". I said, "Try Elite Dangerous".

Not all experiences are created equal. Not all experiences are novelties. Some are the definitive way to experience some titles. Those two along with games like DCS World are in many ways the definitive way to experience those games. Assuming the experience you had with Beat Saber or Fruit Ninja or some such make someone an authority on discussing the broad scope of VR experiences is silly and suggesting they are broadly "novelty" experiences really just exposes the limited experiences of the commenter rather than the medium.

But carry on.

Imagine being the clown who bought into this, coming from a youtuber as a source no less.
