No value in showing a screenshot of 10/112 games.

So, showing a sample is of no value? You could show a pic of your favorite top 10 if you had wanted.

I don't think there's a way to sort by "top 10". It's just alphabetical.

I'm not even sure what "top 10" would mean here. Top 10 most played? Top 10 highest rated? Top 10 most popular (user vote)? Top 10 I'm looking forward to trying?

That's 4 fairly different lists.

Immediate observation from that video: Looks great.

But...how many generations are we away from 60fps reflections? Seeing those 30fps trees on the roof in the 3rd person view really takes away from the otherwise exceptional appearance. I'm sorry.

112 installed + maybe 30 emulated games (SNES, Genesis mostly). No value in showing a screenshot of 10/112 games.

Unfortunately I've played it far less than intended/desired. I'm just rarely in a place where I'm on the road and (1) not driving myself or (2) not sleeping (eg on a plane). And if I'm stationary at home and want to game, why wouldn't I be playing on my 4090 PC or my PS5, you know?

So yea. I think this may be the last mobile console I ever purchase. Not because it isn't worth it, but because my lifestyle just doesn't fit with mobile gaming anymore. Hasn't for a long time, if I'm honest with myself.

BG3 seems to be the least divisive of the options here. I haven't met anyone that hated BG3.

Well this is nothing if not polarizing.

Honestly, it really does seem like if you enjoyed Oblivion and Skyrim, this is a game you'll love as well.

And if Bethesda's magic doesn't work on you (it doesn't on me either) this will and was always going to be a pass. And that's fine. I love that some games have a clear audience for them.

Watching Cohh on Twitch. He absolutely loves the game. Not without its many flaws, but he is genuinely loving it.

So it seems that the game is very much for the crowd who loves Bethesda games. If that's you historically and you're not playing this one, it sounds like you're going to be really missing out. If that's not you, well it was never for you and I to begin with. Play other games.

Those are all things most people are in favor of. Recent polling shows that most Americans (65+% are in favor of universal/socialized healthcare, tougher gun control, and more government regulation especially in regards to taxing the rich and limiting corporate influence).

Even if you are not in favor of it, you would still benefit from it. Literally the opposite of authoritarian. Quite democratic, in fact.

I don't think the government doing what we want it to do equates to authoritarianism. I think we just call that...a government.

In the case of vaccinations or lockdowns where they are not popular, those are emergency situations and arguably the one time where government should step in and more or less save the people from themselves. I suppose that is the barometer for how free your society is; when people complain about lockdowns, you're probably pretty free lol.

Also I don't think anyone was forced to get a vaccine. Maybe if you wanted to continue a certain education or job, sure, but you could just quit. But no one was being snatched up off the street or shot with blowdarts.

Majority of 50% + does not excuse authoritarianism. That's not how that works. Some societies have a majority that believes it's ok to not allow woman to walk around with their face uncovered. You wouldn't say its cool because majority in the area are ok with it. So screw the people who don't like it?

Germany had a clear majority consensus during the Holocaust/WW2. They were still authoritarian facists.

As far as you claiming "you would still benefit from it"

Well that just opinions and extremely debatable.

Here's another example like government trying to force diesel/gas vehicles out.

Id actually make the argument this hurts me but many of the Lefty's would argue "noooo you will benefit because we are saving the planet" and force me to buy some overpriced EV that can't haul shit or do what I need.

You're so individualistic.

True. Individualism > Collectivism

Every person is entitled to their own rights and freedom and should be left alone as long as they are not using any act of aggression towards others.

And holy shit Batman that's a lot of writing to say absolutely nothing but try to insult me while sniffing your own farts. Impressive

Another lazy response.

I'm not trying to hurt your feelings; just being honest and sending you back some of the same energy you're offering here. Quite frankly, you post a lot but have offered vanishingly little worthy of discussion and seem to speak from the talking points sheets of right wing grifters who have taken advantage of you. I wonder if you realize that you're capable of generating your own thoughts without having to open up someone's video to affirm what you *should* say or feel. I'm intrigued to learn why. Home schooling? Disorder or disability? Lack of genuine interest in engagement in these topics? Lack of empathy? Lazy nihilist? I can't tell.

I'm sure you know successful societies have functioned with a core of BOTH individual interests and collective interests for thousands of years, right? So why are you acting like either can be a dirty word? You don't get to be hyper-individualistic and request to refuse to participate in the elements that are socialized and collectively bargained for, while benefitting from and expecting the support of those same services *we all* are needed to contribute to.

I'm sure it would be interesting to see how you define "freedom" and "rights", and how often those stop applying to people, principles, and precepts you disagree with. If you were that committed to "freedom" and "rights", we'd see you marching with minorities and oppressed groups, donating to causes supporting women's rights, demanding active justice instead of simply the absence of tension and freedom from consequences, and otherwise being of value to the world that has given you so much.

Hell, if you could step outside of yourself, I imagine you'd see a deep irony around claiming to desire "freedom" while in reality you're keeping yourself bound up in fear and hate that has calcified into this malformed understanding of how our society functions and is denying you the opportunity to actually enjoy the world around you and the people that share it.

This neo-hyperindividualism is like cancer, I swear to god. You know what it's like? It's like talking to Veruca Salt. Me me me me me *cries*. Past generations (likely including you parents) would be embarrassed to read this kind of talk.
