Honestly, IF TRUE it does make me feel a little better about the poster. Because that video was some rancid shit. The biggest sections of that video were (1) him complaining about pronouns and (2) him complaining that there are too many people of color for his comfort. Now, perhaps the poster only skimmed it and made some assumptions about the rest of his content.

It's 100% okay to make a mistake, admit it, take the L and move on. Other than being a little presumptive, there are no other assertions to draw about their character as opposed to if he keeps digging. If I were that poster, I would have immediately deleted the video and apologized if it didn't reflect his actual beliefs. Because calling it a "homo game" puts it in rare air for bigotry. There was also plenty of racist dog-whistling there stating with his rather transparent thumbnail and his "concern" that based on the NPCs maybe there aren't very many white people left in the future (subtle "great replacement" commentary which has been with us since Nazi Germany🙄). And again, his whole channel is full of videos like that. It took all of about 5 minutes after watching this video to see he is -- at best -- a troll and a bigoted piece of dog poo. And yea I watched some segments of some of his other videos including the Zelda one (where the game was apparently too woke for him because they had too many non-white races🙄).

One of the times I'm truly grateful for private viewing mode. If this guy and trash content like that started polluting my YT feed because I watched his video here on my main account, I'd be pretty damn frustrated.

Lesson for all: Before you casually post someone random creator's content (which advances their visibility and potentially subjects people to bigoted/racist commentary), be sure to actually watch the video AND double-check their other content. ESPECIALLY if they are a new content creator to you. "Pwning the lems / sheep / cows / manticores / whatever" isn't worth doing if it means you are promoting and endorsing hate or its peddlers. Not everyone here on this forum is an adult. Consider you are almost certainly putting this trash in front of impressionable children. Just...have some perspective.
