If bungie was making this game I would consider buying an xbox one, but after playing halo 4 last year I have absolutely no interest. Halo 3 mp was my favorite game of all time; I played that with a group of friends for a couple of years. Halo 4 did not capture the multiplayer magic; it tried to be like call of duty too much and it killed the halo competitive greatness. It sold well, but the online community quickly abandoned it, it had no where near the following that halo 3 and even reach had. Halo 5 is not going to sale xbox like halos of the past.

Wii u tried to reel us in with the tabletesk controller, and xbox one tried with the Kinect, yet gamers have chosen the ps4 with raw performance and a classic style controller; the cheesy gimics are out we want games and decent hardware; sony has already won this gen Nintendo and ms need to get the message.

I got it for pc a couple days ago when it was 25$ on amazon. I'm going to get a ps4 and was debating getting it for that, but I have no idea when ps4's will be back in stock, and I couldn't pass up 25$.

The physical copy is also available at the same price. I was going to wait and see if it would come to next gen or pc, but at this price I had to jump on it.

There's a big thread on the neogaf forums about this. I don't have either next gen console; last gen I had all three and liked the 360 the best because of superior muliplats, most of the time, and halo 3, made by bungie in its prime. Xbox one seems bad for the gaming industry period. Microsoft is showing it's all about the money this gen. Their hardware is weaker and more expensive. They tried to ban used games and back pedaled. Now they appear to be implementing f2p structure on full priced 60$ games. I don't really understand why people are buying the xbox one; they are rewarding Microsoft for degrading gaming in general. I preffered the xbox last gen; but I really hope if fails this gen for the sake of gaming.

I give it one year. After one year of sony domination I think they'll drop it to 400, and then maybe I'll pick one up next Christmas. The Kinect 2.0 would be fun for casual social gaming. I refuse to pay 100 more for inferior gaming hardware though and I'm sure most rational gamers will feel the same way. If halo was still made by bungie, I would have a much harder decision; but 343i has signifigantly lowered halo's stock.

Anyone find it ridiculous that gamespot gives one review for 5 different platforms and they all score the same? Bf4 is a different game on xbox one, ps4, and pc than it is on current consoles yet they all score the same. Gamespot is getting lazy in it's old age, and their reviews have lost a lot of credibility over the last few years. Also, online games like battlefield aren't tested properly before a review is rushed out. The pc version is currently unstable and crashing for people constantly, yet the rushed reviews didn't catch this. People read and trust these reviews and expect a similar experience. If a game ships with problems reviewers should catch this and reflect it in their reviews.

I have a good pc, 2500k w/ 770, but I've been reading about a lot of problems on the pc version. With the ps4 I think good performance is guaranteed and they say it looks similar to high pc settings which is pretty good imo. Also I have a 58 inch tv and a nice 5.1 set up, which I'd like to run the game on. Do you guys think the ps4 version will have a bigger community than the pc version over time? The bigger the population the more games with good connnections.

I disabeled frame limiter and forced v sync through control panel, also forced 16x aa through control panel. I played this game on xbox 1 years ago. Running at 1080p with high aa the game actually looks pretty good to me, but the gameplay is so much better than gta 4. The vehicles handle better, there's much more to do and it's just plain fun. I haven't played Gta 5 yet but hopefully it's more like san andreas than gta 4.

This game is great on pc. I played gta 4 on pc last year and this is so much better; the graphics aren't as good, but the gameplay is amazing.
