The fact that the gddr5 heavy titan is getting stomped doesn't mean a whole lot. Next gen games will be developed for ps3 and all the ddr5, that could hurt the pc ports.
Based on the rumors so far I have to agree that it's not looking good for next box. I preffered the 360 this generation mainly because I like halo and it had better graphics in the majority of multiplats. It seems sony is going to have a clear advantage in graphics this gen. If rumors are true the majority of multiplats should be a little better on ps3. In my opinion halo is no longer what it used to be. Reach and halo 4 have went downhill imo and I won't be an xbox over and ps for halo 5. No used games and an extreme focus on kinect really turns me off. With the info so far I'm definetly leaning toward ps4, but it's very early and a lot could change.
halo is nowhere near what is used to be. The last 2 halo games have been steps down for most people. It will no longer sale next boxes and live subscritions as much as it used to. Look at Halo 4's online population which is already fading fast. Microsoft better come up with some very good exclusives or they might get stomped by sony next gen imo.

The 360 had better multiplats, and equal to better hardware producing better multiplats in the majority of times. It also had the huge draw of the halo franchise. But, halo isn't what it used to be. There is no longer system selling exclusives for the majority of people.
If the hardware is very close the ps4 win's due to better exclusives. Halo 4 isn't terrible but it's nowhere near what halo 2, and 3 were. The online population is significantly lower than it was in 2 and 3. 343 didn't do a bad job, but it's no where near the older Halos.
what will be 720's hook next gen. Halo doesn't carry anywhere near the draw it used to, and xbox live is more of a useless expense than a valuable service. If xbox next doesn't deliver big in hardware then I think the ps4 will easily beat it. Free online play and better exclusives are going to be a big draw.
I have all three consoles 360, Ps3 and wii. I got Xbox 360 first because it came out first and I really wanted Halo 3 at the time. Now Halo is no longer what it used to be with bungie leaving. The xbox has no major exclusives to hook me next gen; the only thing it could do to hook me would be to have superior hardware thus superior multiplat games. If playstation matches or exceeds durango hardware I'm going ps all the way. The playstation has better exclusives now. Halo is no longer the system seller is used to be. I could give a sh*( about kinect 2, please.
This thread confirms that pc graphics are no where near a generation ahead. Most pc games are just console ports with high resolution and slightly better effects. Sure they look better, but a gen ahead, please. Pc hardware is way beyond a gen ahead but that's useless until developers use that power. The only pc excluseives anymore are rts and mmo and indie games. There's no longer big budget pc exclusives like the original Crysis that push pc hardware. It's sad really all that power really has been wasted for a long time. The only things that's going to push pc graphics is when ps4 and 720 come out.
