Just modded mafia to unlimited draw distance and started playing. It's like a whole new game. I'm relatively new to pc gaming and mods. I also just played through crysis 2 with the maldo mod. I'm having a blast on this platform and loving my 770.

I would definitley completely uninstall video drivers. A month ago I installed new drivers for my 570 and started getting crashes in numerous games. I uninstalled the drivers and installed a different version, I'm using beta 326.80 now, and that solved all of my problems. I used "display driver uninstaller" to remove my drivers and it seemed to work very well. That can be found on the geforce forums under the drivers subsection.

Just snagged bioshock infinite and mafia 2 for 10 bucks total. Gamefly has a deal going right now.

Currently intel easily beats Amd, but with next gen consoles using amd will next gen pc ports run better on amd proccessors?

Just upgraded Evga 570 sc to gigabyte 770 wf3. My performance doubled and the card runs cooler and much quieter. The 570 screamed like a banchee. It was well worth the upgrade imo.

I recently got a new gaming pc, 2500k with 770; Does this game still get a lot of players online; and is it worth buying. My concern is that nobody plays it anymore and I'll have a hard time finding a game online.

The original mafia on pc had a great story. I loved the way it was told through the conversation with the police officer. The atmosphere and music and characters really sucked me into the experience. I also really liked the story of the original bioshock.

The 680's on newegg are still around 500$ while the 770's which out preform them are only 400$. You'd think they'd drop the 670 to 300$, and the 680 to like 350$.
