Yay! Rock Band 2 got released today, and I got my copy. Yep, exactly the smae as the last game, but that's what I wanted, so that's not bad at all.

My Rock Band 2 pre-order won't be arriving tomorrow, so I'll have to hunt down a copy....kinda defeates the object of pre-ordering if GAME are so unreliable.

Rock Band 2 is out in two weeks. Can't wait.

Yesterday I picked up 2100 MS points to get ready for RB2. I picked up another 11 DLC songs, which brings my total number of songs to 102. Then I got the export song update, and deleted a fair few songs, leaving me with a slim 69 songs, incl. DLC, to go into RB2 with.

If they sort out the whole free songs thing by the time I get it, I should be starting RB2 with over 170 songs, which is pretty amazing.

Got a brand new laptop today! After almost nine years, my old computer is dead....and thank god! That thing was so slow it was unbearable, but nine years is a pretty good run!

Anyway, Vista is really nice after having to deal with XP for so long. Just more pleasing to the eye really.

Yep! Four years ago today, I joined GS!

Also just pre-ordered Rock Band 2 from GAME's website. November 21st is going to be amazing. I'm going to ensure I have all my work done beforehand, so I can get home, and just play Rock Band 2 for two whole days! Before that though, I must pick up some MS Points in order to buy the transfer update for Rock Band, and mop up the few songs here and there that I still need to get my hands on.

So, I finished The Clube on the 360. If you're looking for the perfect rental which is just a bit of fluff, then go for The Clube, but it does get repetitive quickly.

Secondly, I played Rock Band again last night, but with somebody who had never even heard of Guitar Hero or Rock Band! She's on of my cousin's friends whose staying with me and my mother while they try and find a houseshare. Anyway, we had a really great time, and she thought we'd only spent about two hours, but it was three, and she was a little shocked how quickly the time flew.

So, yea I finished Halo 3 today. Chapter seven was absolutely brilliant, but Chapters eight and the first half of chapter nine were horrid, I mean, you would have thought they would have figured out that fighting the Flood IS NOT FUN! And why so stingy with the checkpoints? Apart from that, the rest was good fun, but I'm just glad that Halo is over...but if only that were true....

Last year, it got to December 23rd, and I started to realize that I actually wanted lots of the big new releases. The 24th was hell on Earth, trying to pick up all the games I wanted, but apart from Phantom Hourglass, I got everything I wanted in time. This year, I have already chosen five games that I must have to survive (sic), and then anything else is a bonus:

Dead Space

Rock Band 2

Gears of War 2

Fable 2

I also have my eye on: Far Cry 2, de Blob, Sam & Max Season One, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Trauma Center: New Blood, Professor Layton, Last Remnant..and some other games, but those five above are the ones I most definitely need!

So, I was playing Rock Band with the drums, and finished "Polly" on Medium. Literally four notes in the entire song. Went over to expert, had to hit the green and yellow pads 4 times......Achievement unlocked, lol.
