@PsychicKiller82: I hope you're joking, because mods could be seen as just another form of cheating, as it disregards the rules of the game, just like cheating the normal way or using console commands.

@joejoe1639: I agree. For my first playthrough, I modded my carryweight up by 1000, and the game got MUCH more fun. No more fast travelling back and forth just to pick up a few extra items I would've grabbed anyways.

All the weight limit does for a lot of people is just inconvenience them. It just means they have to make 2 or 3 trips instead of 1, which can be no fun. They really should've made it so you could send settlers to scavenge a place you cleared out. If it's marked as 'cleared' on the map, you should be able to send settlers or minutemen to loot it, even if you didn't get all the stuff in it, and there was a cooldown or it took some time or something.

Collecting hundreds of pieces of junk to do just a little bit of crafting at a time is boring, and it's just busywork. It's the kind of filler I dislike in Bethesda games that I didn't have to worry about when playing Fallout in the Interplay days. Those Fallouts didn't have grind or filler, just meat.

@masato_indou: Install a water purifier that requires power (the big ones you put on pools, rivers, and lakes) and your workshop fills with purified water every so often.

You then pull that water out and sell it for profit. If you set up shops in settlements, caps accumulate in the workshop too. Same thing for crops you assign workers to. Basically, you can set up settlements to make stuff like food, water, and sell it, and if you set up any kinds of shops, caps (slowly) accumulate in the workshop as well.

Personally, I find the best way to make caps from shops in your settlements is just by selling things to them though. Just bring back a haul from killing raiders or whatnot, and sell off all the equipment you don't need to keep or break down, and the caps accumulate pretty fast.

Pocketed armor (and deep pocketed armor) is good.

@mickyfinn84: That ones really stinks. Turns VATS into a joke because you can ALWAYS headshot everything. I also wish they'd fix Curie's borked combat AI, and make it so that Sturdy and Heavy armor are marked as such when modded.

All they had to do was add an "S" or "H" to the modded version, or an abbreviated Str. or Hvy. or something.

To be fair, making caps gets really easy later in the game. Especially with perks related to it. Everything from more carry weight, to better prices, better equipment and ammo dropping from enemies by default, etc.

Honestly, most indie devs don't need more than Steam and Humble Bundles to drive their sales, anything else is just a bonus. Also, some indie companies have made the most money on PSN, with their second best selling platform being Steam.

Sure there's minecraft, which sold a ton on Xbox Live Arcade and also a lot when the physical box copy was released, but tha's the exception to the norm.

@Tielo1 Hey, that is TOTALLY unfair. Guns that revolve around guns, explosions and muscled guys are stuff for -13- year old boys! Especially when parental ratings require it.

Ouch, sad but true. As far as I'm concerned, my original console from 2003 is the "Xbox One". So I'll wait for the Xbox Two since the're just re-rereleasing the first Xbox.

Kinect's not required to use the Xbox One anymore, you can take it out and it'll still work.

So, they've 180'd the last major qualm most people have had with the console. As for me, I'm going to wait and see what MS will do next before making a decision. The stuff they tried to pull at E3 2013 was horrifying and it was really really easy for Sony to tear them a new one and force all the 180's after that.

Still, who knows what MS will try to pull next if they get a big userbase, at this point I wouldn't put anything past them.

Doubt it, with Blu-rays becoming the next game size standard and them being up to 50 gigs when they're dual layer and the next generation of blu-rays being 100+ gigs and with ISP's instituting data caps more and more.

Right now, it's easy to download Steam and console games over broadband, but in the future... with data speeds not increasing as fast as game sizes potentially, and isp's implementing data caps... Physical may take off again.
