You never know, they might have gotten smart and allowed for different control schemes to define how you would whammy and go into star power mode.

Unless it had some incredible new features, then no I would not. Now, if they added SD card capabilities with downloadable content...then perhaps however if they just made it slimmer then no I would not. There really isnt any way to make it slimmer without taking out the GBA slot which would piss off many people.

Ummm, I don't know. On a slightly more on topic question, how do you whammy?katamari_roller

I would have to say that the wammy bar would be done by either an up and down movement on the touch screen on the wammy bar or left and right movement. In reference to star power, any button could be set up to be the star power activator because you will have the DS in your hand so pressing A,B,X, or Y would not be awkward in any sense however my money will be on the right shoulder button (or left shoulder button if they have some kind of a fix for lefties). That is where the thumb will naturally sit when holding the DS with GH add on.

For those having a hard time viewing white background with white picture...left click inside the picture and then press ctrl+A. It will select everything on the screen and will illuminate the "white" DS2.

An intriguing design however one minor flaw...with screens that big and the DS2 slimmer...there wont be any room for this 128 bit processing capability or the 512MB flash memory or the Wifi card. There would not be anywhere near the needed space to put all of those in unless new advancements in chip board technologies are discovered/manufactured. Oh yeah, forgot to mention the motion sensing. That would take quite a bit of room for precise calibration and attunement.

I cant say anything regarding RoF because I dont own it...yet. I do plan on getting it. Why not get both. They are very different in style and gameplay. FFXII:RW is the most successful RTS for the DS (saying that really doesnt do it any justice though) and is an exceptional game. Minor flaws that can annoy some but far outweighed by the game play and story. I would definitely suggest FFXII:RW to anyone that is a Final Fantasy fan or RPG fan in general (even if they do or do not have experience in real time strategy).

There are definitely games for the GBA that are worth getting. I cant say that you should go out to buy GBA games however I would challenge you to look at the top games for the GBA and see if you think they would be worth playing. There are some really nice RPGs to include Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (FFTA2 is on its way for the DS). Check em out. You wont be disapointed.

There are many video game players out there that tend to make the DS as their primary gaming platform. Others play their DS as much as their consoles. Yes, the DS has some exclusives. The DS has control mechanics that wont work on other gaming platforms.

(this is just an example and not to be taken out of context of this discussion as I know it would never happen)

Take Zelda for the DS and try placing that on the PSP. You will be playing Etch A Sketch when trying to make marks on the map or create the path for your boomarang. Imagine trying to play Lunar Knights during the space flight missions where you have to point to your target to fire. Sure that could be changed to have a crosshair manipulated by the analog stick but you would loose the intensity that eventually builds up with those space flights. There are many games that simply cant be 'ported' because of the touch screen control scheme.

To despell all the rumors floating around and worries...I found an article pointing me to Red Octanes website where you can pre-order the game. If you look under the DS Launch Center on the website I will provide in a bit, you will see in one of the dated entries that it will work with both the original and Lite versions of the DS (March 28th entry). That should make some people happy to have an official word on that issue.

And yet, Runescape has been a fairly big success (or else the game wouldnt be around and new content continuously brought to its player base). Technically speaking, runescape on the DS as far as Wifi capability could work however based on the fact that runescape runs on Java, then I would have to say no. A complete workaround would have to be created for that. Controls could work pretty well with the touch screen interface.

Overall though, I would have to say that it wouldnt work due to the very fact that the game is continously being updated and new content is brought out generally on a weekly basis. New lands are introduced from time to time which cant be downloaded and stored.

People, please simply answer the question instead of harassing and berating others. For those who will want to ask, yes I used to play runescape...a few years ago. I play WoW now among other games.
