@mdinger: Well they have Visceral making that game, a developer that can make a SW campaign. I don't think DICE has that good of a SW campaign in them, their previous campaigns weren't that great, they'll make a fun and enjoyable MP though.
@rolento25: P2P can be shut down to, Sony does it on MLB The Show, and EA do it on their sports games. Also, the fear of dedicated servers being taken down that soon on a game like Uncharted or other major AAA games is unfounded. EA still has it's dedicated servers available for BFBC 1 and 2 on the 360/PS3, games that released 5+ years ago. If people are still playing the game they won't take the servers offline.
@beuneus12: They use a hybrid system, they use dedicated servers for the scoring system, but the game logic is still hosted through player hosting. At least it was on the pevious couple COD's, they might of changed to full dedicated servers for BO3, but I doubt it.
@Deadlysyns87: Well you're misinformed. They haven't, they said BC launches with 100 titles. And publishers will still release collections and remasters, people will always buy the shinier versions of the games. Plus, it's not like there's a lot of franchises that can release collections. Not all games will be BC, but the majority will.
@Deadlysyns87: They haven't announced the full list yet. Why would it not be popular with publishers? It's an easy way for them to add value to sequels and get new players caught up on the series by including the previous games.
@zinten: Halo and Forza don't make sense on PC. On console Halo is the top tier esport arena FPS, on PC it would be against CSGO, Unreal, Quake, Doom, etc. All very popular arena FPS's. Forza is the same, on console it's compared with GT as the best sim racer, on PC it would be just another sim racer. MS gains nothing other than more sales bringing them to PC. The arena FPS and sim racer markets don't need Halo and Forza on PC.
