One Piece

I like the show a lot for some reason. I like the manga better than the anime though. Luffy is one one of the strangest main characters I've ever seen. The opening theme to the American anime is hilarious.

LoZ the wind waker

It's a great game. I just started to play it again and the game still is great. I wonder if I should buy that zelda collection thing for GC.

Samurai Deeper Kyo Episode 7: Keichou Battle Royal

There are rumors that Yukimura will sneak into the Gozen Jiai. Ieyasu’s protectors will be ready for him and any others that may want to assassinate the Shogun. They will use them as evidence of the rebellion.

Jyukamen won his match. No one knows his real name or face, but he was recommended by Honda Tadakatsu of the Tokugama Shi*ennou. Migeira wins the second match, and Yukimura disguised as the woman, Kouhaku, the third.

The fourth match puts Red Tiger, aka Benitore the Silhouette, against Kyo. Benitore’s attacks are no match for Kyo, even when he does his technique that creates multiple silhouettes of himself. Kyo decides to teach him the Mumyo jinpuryu Satujinken (Red Mirage), the art which was used to defeat Shirogarasu. Everything goes red and Benitore sees his father. His father asks him to save the Tokugawa clan. Then he sees Sensei, who tells him if he can’t beat Kyo, he will die by his hand. Benitore breaks it, and Kyo is impressed. He used his real spear though, so he is disqualified.

Migeira meets Kyo later that night. There are five real Muramasas in the world. Kyo has one, and the Tokugawa treasure is another, even though the Muramasa is rumored to give misfortune to every leader of the Tokugawa clan who owns one. If the five are brought together, the world will show its true appearance.

Kyo then meets Yukimura who tells him about a man called Toyotomi Nobushige. He lost at the Battle of Sekigahora and now spends his days in the mountains. Yukimura believes that if he kills Ieyasu, chaos will return to the land. Then he can conquer the world. Associating Toyotomi Nobushige with Yukimura, Kyo asks what conquering the world has to do with him.

The next day during the Gozen Jiai, Yukimura as Kouhaku faces Jyukamen. Yukimura cuts the mask off his face, recognizing him as his brother, Nobuyuki. During the Warring States Era, Sanada Nobuyuki and Yukimura were thought of as the wisest generals. At Sekigahara, their father, Masayuki and Yukimura joined the Western Army while Nobuyuki secretly joined the Eastern Army led by Tokugawa Ieyasu. Yukimura asks who he found that’s worth fighting the Sanada clan for. He tells him Udaisho Tokugawa Hidetada-sama (aka Red Tiger or Benitore). He joined Hidetada-sama and as their troops were advancing through Nakesen on their way to Sekigahara, they came to Ueda castle where Yukimura and their father were. Sanada Masayuki sent out word that they would surrender and invited Hidetada-sama inside. Hidetada-sama asked Nobuyuki if he could trust his father, and Nobuyuki said he could. When he went inside, the Western Army attacked. Hidetada-sama and Nobuyuki barely escaped. Because of that, Nobuyuki was going to commit hara-kiri, but Hidetada stopped him. He said he was glad they didn’t go to Sekigahara, as that battle didn’t interest him. From that moment, Nobuyuki thought HIdetada-sama was a better man than him.

Samurai Deeper Kyo Episode 6: The Duel of Hibiya Bay

Kyo meets Yukimura on his way to Edo, the capital of Shogun Ieyasu, to carry out Mahiru’s vengeance. His Muramasa starts shaking as they walk along a bridge. Under the bridge is Migeiya, who does an attack to fend off the guards and then jumps up onto the bridge. Migeiya is very interested in Kyo’s Muramasa and vows that in the name of world peace, he will take it from Kyo.

After that meeting, Kyo and Yukimura enter a place covered in fog. It is Kozugahara, a place that was once an execution grounds for criminals. Now Kenyou inhabit the place. Shogun Ieyasu still believes that Yukimura is imprisoned there.

Sakuya discusses Yukimura’s intentions with her servants. The winner of the tournament is bestowed with the Tokogawa treasure, another Muramasa called the Hokurakushin. Ieyasu will present the treasure to the winner. Sakuya is uncertain whether Yukimura wants to kill Ieyasu, wants the sword, or wants to confirm that Kyo’s personality has fully awakened. However, if they both enter the Gozen Jiai and do well, they will have to fight each other.

The Shogun and his protectors discuss security plans. He tells them to erase those who have been sent by a daimyo to assassinate him. Hanzuo objects, stating that will start a war. Ieyasu replies that the war never truly ended. He has Jyukamen, a man with a beast mask, enter the Gozen Jiai as another precaution.

The Gozen Jiai takes place with Mikogami Tenzen, the sword master for Tokugama, as judge. Mikogami Tenzen left the Yayuu Shinkage Ryuu school and became ‘onoha itto-ryuu’ or one without a specific style. The first round has Kyo fighting. He asks to fight everyone in the first group at once, and defeats them all effortlessly to emerge the winner. Red Tiger won the second group battle. As Red Tiger brags to Yuya, Kyo overhears and tells him he won’t be going easy on him if they end up fighting.

Later that night, Red Tiger meets his sensei, Mikogama Tenzen, who offers to teach him the most powerful attack he knows. Red Tiger declines the offer, stating that he has his own reasons for wanting to fight Kyo, and that he knows he cannot win the match.

The next day, the second round takes place at Hibiya Bay. Yukimura shows up dressed as a woman called Kouhaku, and the winner of group 8 from the first round.

Samurai Deeper Kyo Episode 5: Assassins Tear

Picking up where Episode 4 left off, Mahiru is in a fit of rage and seeking revenge for what Kyo did to her sister. He breaks the binds that are holding him and stops the bullets with his sword. He tells her that she must decide the truth herself. There is a flashback to Mahiru’s past. Mahiru and her sister, Mayumi, were the daughters of the legendary swordsmith, Muramasa. Muramasa made five types of swords, the first was made at Isl Kuwana during the mid-Muromachi period (1336-1573). The swords are said to have been possessed, and that three Tokugawa leaders suffered diseases because of Muramasa’s swords. Kyo had gone to Muramasa for a sword, and as he waited under a tree outside their house, Mayumi cared for him and brought him food. When Mayumi went to him to give him his newly crafted Muramasa, he killed her with it as Mahiru watched. For that, Mahiru seeks revenge. Kyo escapes.

Yukimura meets up with Kyo to persuade him to enter the Gozen Jiai. The Neguro warriors attack, and together, Yukimura and Kyo kill them all with smiles on their faces. Sanada Yukimura is the one person who Shogun Tokugawa fears most, and as they kill his protectors, they are smiling. After the battle, Kyo runs forth into a trap set up by Shadow Genzou. He calls forth Air and Ground spiders to trap Kyo and sets Mahiru as his opponent. As Mahiru attacks, Shadow Genzou creates an explosion knocking Mahiru down. He performs his Curse of the Spider attack, the same attack he used on Mahiru’s sister. He explains that on that day, he had come to the land to kill Muramasa, but Kyo was there. Mayumi begged him to slay her to protect her father. After Genzou had gone, Mayumi lay dying. She asked Kyo to end her life with his hands, trusted by her father, Muramasa, and the sword her father had made for him. It was this part that Mahiru witnessed. Ashamed that she sought revenge without knowing her sister’s true intentions and that she worked for the man who killed her sister, she asks Kyo to kill her. He attacks Genzou, slicing Mahiru free in the process. It was Iegasu’s order to kill Muramasa. If Genzou would have succeeded with his mission, he would have become the Shogun’s ninja. Kyo does his Kaze no Koe (Voice of the Wind) and Genzou explodes. Mahiru asks why he saved her. Kyo replies that no matter the reason, he did kill her sister. She should live until she is able to kill him.

Red Tiger nurses Mahiru’s wounds. She recognizes him as Tokugawa Hidetada, who will one day succeed his father to become the next Shogun. He asks her if she will obey his request, and she agrees. He then tells her never to go after Kyo or Yuya again, and that Yuya is his loved one.
