Fallout in space looks OK, but that gunplay looks fairly generic. 200 years in the future & we're still using bullets? I really hope there's some more imaginative combat options.

My real question is, can I play the whole game in third person?

@s1taz4a3l: The problem is that they can always change things. Monetisation might be fair while all the reviewers are having a play & fans are making their first impressions, but that can change after everyone's posted their positive opinions.

I work for a broadcast company & there's plenty of content that doesn't represent my personal or political views. I don't expect it to.

He has a point, but you'd also be surprised how much NZ & Canada are shot for the US.

Part of it may be Hollywood stereotypes, but a big part is tax breaks & other incentives to shoot in certain countries.

Still trying to decide if I want to give this a jam. I don't like that there's no journal. It can be hard to keep track of quests in games like this.

The expansions for Odyssey were actually pretty good, but like most AC, a little too long. If they cut down on the filler & have some good story-based content with some interesting gameplay twists, this could be good. If it's just 35 more hours of Valhalla, I'll pass.

Cultural & ethnic diversity is good. It brings opportunities for new & interesting gameplay & story. Let's just enjoy that we're getting something different & wait for a finished product to judge how good a game it is. Criticising people for trying to represent different cultures before you've even seen how good or bad a job they're actually going to do will get us nowhere. Don't be a part of that culture that tears people down for not being 100% perfect. Don't assume the worst of people. Don't assume everybody but you is secretly a horrible racist.

I don't really care about the Star Wars IP, only if it's a good game. Quantic Dream have made some cool stuff, but this looks a lot bigger than anything they've done before. Should be interesting to see how it turns out.
