@pcps4xb: If your issue was not enough resources then maybe. I think FH3's issue was that it ran pretty well on 10 series Nvidia cards but performed worse than expected even on powerful 9 series cards.
Windows Gaming Mode should help out if you have a bunch of background tasks using up RAM & CPU processing power. On high end machines it doesn't tend to be much impact but on lower spec or older computers, these background processes might cause some slow downs in game.
"Point & click" adventure games have been doing environmental storytelling for years. Exploring an environment, finding clues & piecing a story together didn't start with Gone Home anymore than Telltale's The Walking Dead invented branching choices.
@Virtue777: Fun fact: the idea of "first world" or "third world" has nothing to do with wealth or living standards. Third world really just classifies the countries who weren't aligned with either the US or Russia.
But yeah, I get what you mean. US internet companies have gotten away with bribing the government *ahem, I mean lobbying* for too long.
G-Sync is the best thing to happen to gaming in a long time.
It's a much smoother gaming experience, even if the game is dropping below 60fps. This means unoptimised engines or open world games that can vary hugely in framerate depending what you're looking at, can be played without jarring hitches.
