You're right, they don't have to do it, but how will it be percieved by the public.

I think it may get a very cold reception without some sort of Wii motion controls.

But, yeah, they could make the graphics adequate, and use the Classic Controller...But I don't see it happening.

But the game potential comes from the new controller. Sorry thats the Wii's # 1 selling point. The controller provides new gameplay possibilities. Cause nothing else on the Wii does. Certainly not the graphics.

No offense but outside of Nintendo fanboys, why else would anyone buy a Wii if not for the controller?

Well I bought mine partially for the motion controls, but the VC was a selling point to me and a lot of Nintendos first party games as well. I don't expect every game to use the motion controls. I'm sure the majority will and some things will come along that allow the use of standard controllers as well. I don't see a problem with it IMO.

Wii owners have been going around since GOTY was decided saying SMG was the best game last year, yet when it comes to reviews for other games, I guess it doesn't matter anymore? You can go look at every credible game review site and the 360 has the best line-up, It's been established that we use gamespots reviews, thus there is a set score for each game. As for 22million people buying the Wii, we don't know for what factors they are for purchasing it, or even if they liked it, so it doesn't mean its the best. There was even a study last year by famitsu saying that over 60% of Wii owners in japan do not play there Wii's any longer, sales dont represent quality.

And even with those 40% remaining it's still larger than the 360 fan base in Japan. :lol:

BTW I own both a Wii and 360 so I'm not ragging on either one. I like them both in different ways.

lol I was thinking the same thing. It can't really be a poll if all the options sway it one way.

Anyway if this was actually not a fanboy made poll and had an option for the Wii controls being good and working great on certain games and and then sucking on some of the others I would have picked that. So far for the most part I don't have a lot of problems with the controls on most games, but there are a few that I would rather just have a game pad for.

But you don't need a PS3 to play them either. ;)

Edit: Personally I think you miss out with one system anyway, that's why I have several.

If nintendo never had motion control and just better graphics nobody would have bought it

The difference is that this is the first time that Resident Evil 5 brings back ghosts of the past. White people enslaved black people. Why go back there except to cause controversy and bring back a lot of hurt and hatred?

I'm on my second 360. I got my first 360 back in August 07 and the DVD drive went out around October 07. I'm not sure if I have a gamer tag since I don't have it online.

Edit: My second/current 360 has the newer HDMI setup. My first one didn't.
