I only payed 350 for my 360 new?
Anyway, yes I agree my 1200 gaming PC I built wipes the floor with my 360, Wii and PS2, but I still for some reason enjoy playing my consoles more.

I paid the same price for both my Wii and 360 as what the PS3 cost, well at 600 bucks. Put's up flaim sheild and runs.
For the record I will be getting a PS3 when it gets some more games that I want for it. The price right now isn't really a factor for me on buying it. I'm just waiting for some more games to come out. Also at the moment I don't own an HDTV and standard DVD's are fine for me at the moment so Blue-Ray isn't even a selling point for me.

Instead of showing where I "teh misrepresented you", you go running to the hills. Fine. But what i said you did, you did. You brought in Star Wars, a live action movie through and through. Transformers (and I only used characters in the examples), went from cartoon to realistic.
No I didn't "Go running to the hills" I just woke up to the fact that everyone in this thread that has had any kind of a different opionion than you over the subject has ended up in a circular debate. Nice attempt on trying to get a rise out of me though. :)
Because I vary in opinion I am at fault. I get it. Do I not bring valid points up every single time? Come on dude. Just because I counter well doesn't make me a jerk. Thi is what the forums are for, to debate about games. Don't like it, go elsewhere. No one's holding you to the fire.
Oh I respect your opinion and don't have a problem with it. At the same time others also have their opinions as well as yours. I stated my opinion and at the same time acknowledge yours. Being that they are both opinions I'm not going to waste my time in a circular debate trying to change yours or anyone else's when it's quite obvious you or they don't care to have their opinions changed. As far as knowing what goes on in this forum... I'm quite clear on the subject being that I have been a member here over 3 years longer than you should tell you that

And some things should not look realistic, no matter how much power the consoles have. Simple as that.
Mario should never look like a real person. Then it loses its whimsy.
Well at least some of us here got it.

[QUOTE="bcrich959"]Meh, I like them better as a cartoon. I think CGI is way over done in movies anymore IMO. Star Wars being a perfect example, a movie that is going over 30 years old still amazes me compared to alot of the movies we have now days. I think you can put something amazing out without all the fancy bells and whistles. It just depends on the people doing it correctly. The same goes with games. You can still have a really great game without all the details on every single object if the developer puts effort into it they can pull some really great games with what technology was offered even with last gens systems.

Star Wars? Star wars?!?! Are you serious? You are comparing going from cartoon to real (mario Kart, Transformers) to going from real to CGI (star wars)????? What a joke.
CGI in Star Wars can suck soemtimes because using real props can sometimes be for better. I get what you're saying there. But you are comparing CGI to real where you should be comparing real-looking CGI to cartoony Nintendo titles.
