@Cashmoney007: "it is easy to make fun of the Last of Us 2"
Really? Funny... The joke is always the same... Maybe is me... I´m getting old...
"It will be just as easy after the game comes out."
We will see... If that happens you will have all my respect...
"The whole situation is pathetic and easy to make fun of."
Actually it is a sad situation. I can understand the frustration of some gamers, especially because of one specific scene. But most complaints (at the moment) are just kids tantrums. All I can say is... these so called gamers who will not buy the game... don´t talk about other thing than the game... interesting...
@videogameninja: "And I mean real fans, not “haters”."
Sorry but I disagree... Real fans would not hate on the game before release. They would wait and see if the final product is subpar or not. Real fans would trust Naughty Dog until the end and then they would judge fairly. But maybe that´s just me... I´m just a fan...
I do agree on one thing... the story is going to be very important to judge this game. But the whole story, inside the whole gameplay, and the whole narrative...
@kstaggs87: The game sales will suffer... That´s a fact... But "I highly doubt anyone gives a shit about TLOU2 " it´s a bold and not very clever assumption...
@ccgod: So... If you are right (obviously this will be subjective) I´ll be the first here telling you that I was wrong. I´ll play the game and then I´ll see first hand if the outrage was on point or not.All I care is about the story, Ellie sexual choices or appearance means nothing for me, same goes for any other character in the game, all I need is logic. The actions, the feelings, the motivations, need to have a logic behind it.
So crossed fingers, because I choose to trust them. It´s very hard to have a win with this game and very easy to have a failure. Knowing that... it´s a matter of faith.
@ccgod: Well... I don't dare to say you are wrong. I simply don´t know. But I need to trust them. I may be disappointed, but I know that they know how to write a good story. I can´t take away my trust on them without the final product in my hand. It would be unfair of me.
Naughty Dog (in the same line as CD projekt Red) never failed me. I will not failed them either until they make me distrust them. Maybe TLOU2 can be the game that change my view about them (I don´t know), but I will not make my mind without fully experience of their view/game.
