[QUOTE="Morrdecai"]As I said in SW, this scream desperation to me. Nearly having the cost of the system in less than a year is an unheard of move. I hope it pays off for Nintendo.garland51

Ditto. A company doesn't lower the price of a gaming handheld or a gaming console so soon after launch. This just proves that Nintendo is scared & admitted that they overcharged the product for consumers.

I don't think that's the issue. Nitendo is just admiting what is readly observable: the 3DS is strugglign compared to the DS. I'm not really faulting Nitnendo for the price as much as i'm faulting them for using the same marketing stragtery that eventually failed with the wii: market the hardware, but provide very little quality games. People forget that the DS is a succesful system not because of its hardware, but because of its game libary, The novetly factor of the dual screens wore off a long time ago.

Yea, but that's mainly because I don't play as many games as I used to.

Nope totally a preference. What do you say to those people like myself who prefer to date outside their race? Are they racist towards themselves or their own race? Hardly.

Definitely Rhythm games in my book. For me it's not rather or not you fail that makes these games hard, it's the fact that it takes months and even years of practice to get good at some of them. Of course, if you just want to have a good time, then you don't need to worry about all that, but in general people don't really enjoy rhythm games until they are good at them.

Nintendo can pull off HD, but they will need some help as the article said, but I don't think it will be impossible. I'm more interested in what comes out as a result of it.

now that the resident evil game has flopped, is there any reason at all in owning a 3ds? i mean everyone gets a headache when using the 3d, it only has 1 analog stick, the graphics are again sub par, is there any reason at all in owning a 3ds?

Right now, no. Later possibly. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the 3DS is going to continue to suck for a good bit of the year, but there might be some hope near the end and at the beginning of next year. I wouldn't give up on it so quick.

Let's hate Namco for taking action when CDPR breaks a contract!

Baranga

This.

Namco is simply doing what anybody would do if a contract was breached. There's nothing to see here folks.

No more than $300. Nintendo won't be able to justify to consumers the price point being higher of both the PS3 and X360, so it has to be at least equal or less.

They haven't really said much to convince me this is more 3rd party friendly, the Wii U's only advantage over the Wii that I can see is that it'll allow more multiplatform titles to go to the Wii U and not just the Xbox 360 and PS3 because of hardware limitations, which is good, but one of the big problems with the Wii was that publishers were releasing exclusives and multiplatforms and they didn't sell very well on the Wii, the system had excellent 1st party game sales but nobody was buying the other games. Nothing they've said has really showed they'll be able remedy this.lamprey263

Cause most of the other games on the Wii were ports, and the majority of the third-party exculisives on the wii were nothig gto buy a system over,

IMO, Nintendo has done all it could to provide a system that third parties actually want to work with on in the WiiU. It's now up to developers to make games that will actually sell on the system.
