well, as you know, ive been very close to a homeworld 2 mod, halo: homefront, well this has inspired me, why not make my own mod

which has brought me and my friend together to form a plan, neither of us have any modding experience (while i do, but its very. very. limited)

so we need to get used to the engine that were using, which is, suprisingly, Halo: CE

now, we made a main project that were gonna do, and we hope to accomplish this over the next few years, and what that is, is this:

Halo: Chronicles (name pending)

what we are going to do is create a completely new separate campaign based upon the battle written in the books, Fall of Reach, First Strike and Ghosts of Onyx (well, GoO would be very hard due to the massive amount of retexturing/remodeling of everything)

but of course this is a serious, ambitious project, so to familiarise ourselves with the engine, we decided to make a bit of a comedy mod first

Halo: The whimsicle adventures of Jaban and his Grunty friends

this tell the story of the first grunt to recieve shields, and becomes a sort of ghostbusters type figure. It makes sense, my friend is making the maps, and im doing everything else (AI deployment, weapons, cutscenes, adding sounds)

we already have out first few levels mapped out:

Covenant ship

Human ship

Sentinel planet

Level 4

'there not dancing' level

OMG THATS LIKE SO CLEVER level

i came up with the names, and we hope to finish this before 2010

now just wondering, hows this for an intro, your sitting in a covenant boarding craft with other grunts/elites, then suddenly one of them starts singing the intro to the mjolnir mix, then another does another bit, and soon the whole boarding party are doing the do's to the halo theme tune :D

all in grunt voices.

well, since the new reviewer came in, ive seen alot of much more fairer reviews, rather then putting the game down a whole mark cos he doesnt like someones face >.>

i do suggest you all get this game (as i know most people who read this are RTS lovers) and if ur english, then sorry, they dont plan on releasing in europe any time soon *le sigh*

well, you all remember me talking about sins of a solar empire right?

well, you might have looked it up on the web about how great it is and how the interface is great and it feels epic and all that, but theres one thing they claimed which ive always been skeptical about, and that it, the interface

now, in many interviews with the production team, theyve claimed that you could play an entire game with just the UI and never clicking on anything on screen, now to me with my usual skeptic approach to hyped stuff, i just refused to believe this

until today,

due to my new **** computer im using (my old one lost its internets) i cant play any games (or do any long term posting on gamespot, which is why i aint been talking for a while), well i can play starcraft, which i was very happy about, but i cant play sins

well, i can play sins, thing is, all that comes up, is the UI. So i thought 'Great! now i can test the theory one whether you can play a whole game with just the UI'

and by the title, yep, youve guessed it, you can play an entire game of sins with just the UI, but not only that, but you can also WIN a game of sins with just the UI, and not just win, but also wbeat 3 hard AI's while your at it.

oa dn incase your wondering, im still playing beta 3, im waiting for a new comp to buy it, then ill review it :)

ok, i was surfing the net last night when i came upon an article about a certain hidden easter egg, placed sneakily within the super mario galaxy game

now if we type out these letters they say U R M R G A Y

did i tell you guys about my idea fora mass effect party?

basically, 2 tvs, 2 xboxs, 2 mass effects, and beer, lots.

yea for new years, me and my mate sam hooked up a projector, that i plugged my xbox into the projector and sam into his tv, and we played games and drank beer until 6 in the morning, when i completed mass effect, all i remember is lots of explosions... im gonna need to do it again...

but yea

IT WAS REALLY AWESOME

i really regret not going out somewhere to dance and get pissed with girls instead of playing games all night, but i saw my mate who i aint seen in weeks, and it was really awesome (note: not gay it was a completely hetrosexual gaming night where we talked aboutgirls and our complete lack of urge to fondle each others scrotoms.... IM NOT GAY!)
