@jerjef: Yep I remember them saying not everyone has Internet access when Microsoft announced the always online....but apparently now everyone has fast unlimited Internet to stream 4k movies and content
@otterbee: I don't think what Microsoft said is misleading. I believe you're pulling at straws with that one. If I'm putting on a car competition, I can only tell you what my car can do or how I plan to use my own car, I can't tell you what or how others are going to use it. I can't tell you how the next person will drive the track I can only vouch for myself...
Sony on the other hand said if it looks like 4k to you then it's 4k even though it's not really 4k. But at the ed of it all the console isn't on sale yet and we haven't seen what devs can do with it yet.
Let's not try to lump everyone into one pot here. Let's try to take them at their word so when they deliver or don't deliver we can pinpoint their exemplary or short comings.
@R4gn4r0k: isn't that getting their priorities right? Anyway I think you're either thinking about this extremely backwards or you're just looking for something snazzy to say about xbox or Microsoft. Think: if a console can do 4k@30/unlocked then that console can no doubt do 1080@60 with all the bells and whistles on.
At the end of the day it's what devs want to do and how they want to deliver their games on the device. Microsoft makes the platform, developers then use that platform.
@Terminator95: FYI xbox has always been the more powerful console, except for xbox one (don mattrick F'd it up). I hope you don't look silly when people start trading in their ps4pro to upgrade to the scorpio. ps5 in 2020 and xbox next in 2021.
