Yeah, same here. I hated how quickly weapons degraded and the first person movement just felt really bad. Little things like how your character kept moving even after you stopped pressing forward just bugged the hell out of me. Don't know why OP loved that trailer--it was corny and useless (ie no gameplay whatsoever).

Not necessarily. It could be very Souls like, but not have anything in common with it narrative wise, so they just decided to go with a totally new name.

Seems like sequel after sequel. Anybody created a list of new IPs that have been announced? I know there's Bloodborne (although, I'd hesitate to call it a new IP unless they really do something different from the Souls games), quite a few indies and such, but what about big new IPs.

Even though it was gameplay, it may as well just have been CGI considering it gave no indication whatsoever of what the gameplay will be like. He just flew around, got out of a ship, walked around for no apparent reason, then flew back. I still have zero idea what the day to day gameplay of that game will be like.

Swat 4 was a single player tactical FPS with the ability to control multiple teams, issue numerous (and I mean numerous) orders to those teams, featured realistic bullet damage/weapon penetration, and focused primarily on subduing targets via non-lethal methods (that or you waited until they pointed their guns at you, which was risky). Not to mention, the levels featured a degree of randomness in how enemies/hostages were placed.

Until they actually confirm that there even is a single player game with squad commands and such, don't compare it to Swat 4 just because you breach doors and wear tactical gear.

Also, I believe you can revive teammates in this...so no, it does not appear to be "one mistake and your team dies."

Yeah, it looks great and all, but I am in the same boat; I just don't get what the actual point of the game is. I would assume you can gather resources and build shit, including ships, but we haven't really had any confirmation of this, which is odd.

They've been pretending that every game there is a PS4 exclusive. "Grim Fandango on PS4 and Vita!!!" ....also coming to other platforms (ie PC).

Knew it was coming to PC. They really should have gone with PC capture footage, as it didn't look very good on PS4.
