rockstar has been selfish since GTA4twistedface12

Rockstar has been neglecting the PC platform since GTA 3 so I don't see any reason why they will change for the next GTA. The PC may get the next GTA nearly a year after the consoles but in my books that will be too little too late. I bought GTA 4 on the day it was released for the PC, I won't make that mistake again.

Exactly. I have a bunch of games on EADM. They change the name and people suddenly take notice and start the bashing. Go figure. :?Elann2008

It is not just a name change, that is the first phase of Origin's implementation :-

So yeah right at the moment it is "just a download manager" but that is going to change.

Didn't they say ME3 is Origin exclusive?

Remmib

At the moment the Digital Deluxe Edition of Mass Effect 3 is "exclusive" to Origin. There is no world on whether the standard edition will be available on steam yet. As for the TC's question, I do not really play TF2 so I don't really know what all this hat business is all about. However since Mass Effect is an EA property I can't see them being too happy for Valve to do this.

It would mean something if Origin really was the "ONLY" place, but it wasn't, only place that had problems with Crysis 2 was Steam.DanielDust

I am not getting into an argument with you DanielDust if you can't see why people came to the conclusion that EA had removed Crysis from Steam after putting up a page on their store saying "Origin Only" and then releasing a statement that says " :-

"EA"Gibeau told GamesIndustry.biz today that "you talk about platform exclusives like Halo or Uncharted… EA's going to have some of our own platform exclusives."

All we have from EA so far is a "oh it wasn't us guv`nor honest, it was those other guys really it was"

Remember kids, assume first, rage after and never consider the possibilities. DanielDust

It was a perfectly reasonable assumption when you consider shortly after Crysis 2 was removed from Steam EA had this on Origins site :-

http://tinyurl.com/5wv6tvo

See where it says "Buy Now ONLY on Origin", that page has since been changed to "Buy Now on Origin" :-

So something dodgy is going on here and no I am not about to take the word of an EA PR guy. I mean they are hardly likely to go "yeah we did it what you gonna do about it".

Apparenlty EA are blaming a disagreement between Valve and Crytek over some terms or something :-

It's unfortunate that Steam has removed Crysis 2 from their service. This was not an EA decision or the result of any action by EA.

Steam has imposed a set of business terms for developers hoping to sell content on that service – many of which are not imposed by other online game services. Unfortunately, Crytek has an agreement with another download service which violates the new rules from Steam and resulted in its expulsion of Crysis 2 from Steam.

Crysis 2 continues to be available on several other download services including Origin.com.EA

Hm so EA are yanking content off Steam and making it "Origin" exclusive ......... well that is going to end well for them  . If they thought sales of their software was bad on the PC before they haven't seen nothing yet. Ah well their loss, the only game I was interested in from EA is Mass Effect 3 and I am buying that retail for the Collectors Edition after that I can't see EA getting any more of my money.

Nope not touched COD since number 4 and the likelihood of a subscription model being tacked on to the next COD makes me even less likely to bother with the game.
