@humber83 @colt_a Its a clever wording in Sony's policy that essentially says the same thing that Microsoft says, in a different way. The publisher is still in charge. All they have to do is make it digital only (think Steam-like) in the PSN Market. Then restrictions apply. It was great on Sony to say the same thing MS did, in a better manner.

I am a member of the PC Gaming Master race, and thus transcended this war...BUT there are a few things you guys are forgetting:

Sony said no used game restrictions on DISC BASED GAMES.

Publishers can simply go digital if they want and you only get it once, with no used market or lending system in place like the Xbox One. Xbox One also announced way more exclusives. There were the same amount of games announced in each conference, but more Triple A elusive titles are going to Microsoft. The Xbox isn't anywhere near dead, stop acting like it is.

Sony's price point is the biggest selling point. That's what Microsoft gets for shoving Kinect down people's throats when they don't want it. It should be an accessory, not a requirement. Online checks suck, but most people can't remember the last time they lost internet for a day (that didn't include a power outage as well). So that complaint is pretty laughable.

@dcaseng Sony launched their console at 600 bucks last gen. Just sayin. It could be that they release it high and lower it later that they did.

Also, its worth noting that despite a 600 dollar original price point, Sony ended up selling close to the same amount (i think they are even slightly higher now) than Xbox over the course of the generation. A 500 dollar pricetag doesn't mean much in the long run.

The only solution is to destroy EA, and everyone who ally with them. This includes fan favorites like Popcap and Bioware. But we must do this for the good of gaming. Let the holy purge begin my children. Rain fire upon them. Shed tears of joy when they are no more.

Wow. EA has destroyed another franchise. Seriously guys, stop buying stuff from them. Also, if you know an EA exec, do the world a favor and make them disappear.

@WehrmachtBear @Jonno621 @SEEDman_X Except those people who made the game are already paid. Every dollar spent will go to the higher ups who screw over the little guy. This reinforces the practice. Its better to boycott the game, letting the execs know that this type of treatment does not equal good products (or press in this case). And others will pick up on that.

Will some of those developers likely suffer for it? Sure. But it will be better for everyone else in the future. Every time someone does something for 'the little guy' the fat cats laugh at you and screw that guy over some more.
