[QUOTE="mitu123"] Hell, so has DX10.XDtopgunmv

DX10 was a sham, everything that was in DX10 was able to be done in DX9.

I think dx10 does those things better and more efficiently though. Look at the extreme dithering of ssao shadows in the witcher 2.

They could have done it better through DX9

I am surprised windows 8 isn't coming with DX12.

DX11 has barely been tapped.

You don't need that much VRAM for a 570 unless you are doing more then one monitor.

I'd suggest this:

It can be overclocked like a son of a gun.

[QUOTE="wis3boi"] They beat out the SB's a bit, reports saying around 15-20%. Apparently they do really well at gaming, plus come in many core sizes, like 4, 6, 8, 12...gmaster456

All rumors and no confirmed real world benchmarks, so lets wait till they release to see if they out perform SB. Bulldozer doesn't come in a 12 core cpu.

The 12 core isn't branded as Bulldozer but it uses the same architecture. Bulldozer is actually based off of server CPU's.

You'd still have to get a socket g34 system for you opteron cpu, it would be a complete waste of money if were to be built for just general purposes.

Seeing as how Ivy most likely won't be out until 2013, I'd wait until bulldozer and then choose between that and SB. Just remember something new is always around the corner so don't wait too long or you'll find yourself waiting longer.

Bulldozers is AMDs new processor right? i dont know anything that, whats good about it ?

I've seen 15-20% lower prices, plus around black friday they usually have a 10% off all gpus deal that I personally was able to get by talking to customer service about a card I bought on black friday.

I'd suggest by the end of the year you save up what you can and upgrade your whole system. There should be some black friday/christmas sales going on everywhere.
